The cabins are great for couples. My wife and I had a great weekend here. If you are looking for a place to out away from things and quiet then I recommend it.
Great cluster of new build cabins, definitely not for the faint of heart in terms of getting there. It’s windy, hilly, and on gravel roads, but it is along side a babbling brook and deep in the woods. I would definitely stay again!
We just pulled back in our driveway after an amazing 2 days at this little slice of just absolute bliss. Cabins were new, the bed was comfy and nothing beats walking barefoot through the stream or sitting around the fire pit. Gorgeous views when the sun burns through the fog in the mornings too. We're definitely coming back! We were there with two other couples and you wouldn't even have known. The pollinator garden was a nice touch too. hank you!
If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in the wilderness, THIS IS IT!! The cabins are in fact new and have all the necessities as well as luxuries. The cabin was very clean, and the outside was well kept. When they say that firewood is provided, they mean it! Plenty of firewood for you to relax outside and unwind. Owners communication is great and can be contacted easily if need be. Would definitely stay again!!
Beautiful setting very peaceful love the creek behind the cabin. The color of the fall foliage was beautiful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with any utensils. You may need great location super close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We absolutely loved it!! highly recommend ,and we would definitely stay there again!! we like it so much we want one for ourselves!!
Nice cabin just in front of a peacful river. Immersed in nature but still within driving distance to cool city activities (check out downtown Staunton and Devil's Backbone Brewery). Would stay here again!
The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!
We enjoyed every moment at the cabin! It is spacious and yet cozy on the inside. Everything we could need was provided and top-notch quality. Our dogs loved going in the creek right out our door. Highly recommend and we will definitely go back again!
Beautiful cabin with all new construction and great amenities. Glamping at its finest. Had some trouble getting here, the directions were a bit unclear but otherwise a wonderful relaxing experience.
This is the second time my husband & our dogs have stayed here. We love the cabins & the site. The cabin is right next to a relaxing creek; our dog enjoyed it too. I love that we do not have cell phone service, but still had a strong wifi connection for when we wanted it. Lots of trails & things to see nearby. I can't wait to return again & continue to explore.
