A Home away from Home

Lovely house, very warm and cozy atmosphere. Has everything you need. My kids enjoyed and loved their stay and that’s all it matter. Definitely will be back again by summer

Eagle Rock was amazing

Our family loved the amenities, we’ll be going back to experience more. My granddaughters favorite part were the horses! Our host Teresa was wonderful, house very well equipped and she made sure we had all we needed.

This house has all of the amenities listed and is clean and comfortable. Areas of improvement would include: better lighting throughout the home, updated pans, and less knick-knacks on dresser and counter surfaces.

Post Christmas Getaway

Lovely home with great kitchen. The house has a comfortable living room and a separate den, so our family could hang out in different spaces. We walked around the lake and enjoyed watching the deer in the woods around the house. We built fires in the fire place and played games at the dining room table. Very accommodating space and attentive owners.

The house was amazing had everything we needed durning our stay. We were a total of 8 was able to be comfortable and had enough space to stay. The house is located walking distance to the lake and has a great view of the ski slopes. Teresa and her husband were very attentive I highly recommend this house. The beds were comfortable there were many blankets and the fire place was great for the cold evenings. Will be back soon.

Beautiful, cozy home away from home

We stayed here for our traditional Columbus Day weekend getaway. The house was immaculate and was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The development itself is quiet, and the people we came across were extremely friendly. We had the perfect weekend weather-wise, and saw some amazing fall foliage. Larry and Teresa are truly super nice people and quickly responded to any questions we had. They even took the time to give us info about the area and places to eat, which we very much appreciated. We definitely would recommend staying here.

Perfect place to enjoy the vacation

We and our friends family spent a summer long weekend in this property. We all enjoy the staying in the house. We guess the owner is interior designer since the decor of house is so beautiful, like those houses showed in magazines . Teens and kid all love staying in the house. They begged us to rent the same house when winter skiing season starts . Highly recommended!

Family mid-winter break

We had a great time staying at this property with my family (7 adults, 1 teenager and 2 one year olds). We had a chance to meet the owners upon arrival and they were very nice couple. We had great communication with the owners in terms of check-in/out process and any other questions/concerns. We loved that linens and towels were already provided because that's one or few less things we had to pack and bring with us. We loved the decor and the new renovation done on of the first floor and can't wait to see the rest of the kitchen reno on our future visit. However, having 2 one year olds with us, we had to make sure that all decor were safe and secure as they were not child proof. But if you are staying in this property with all adults, you should be perfectly fine. The kids enjoyed seeing all the deer on the property. We also liked the fact that it was close by to the Lake. Highly recommend this property and we will be back again! -Lyn & families

Home near the lake

We enjoyed our quick 2 night last minute get-away, us and 2 grown boys. The owner was very nice and very quick to respond. Overall the home was fine, abit dated and very dark, definitely need more lighting. The kitchen needs some newer pots/pans with matching lids. The backyard is wooded with lots of trees, a nice fire pit with lots of logs to use. The location is great, close to the lake (w/2 kayaks for you to use.)

Bambie’s wonderland!

If you are looking to be surrounded by nature this is the place! The home is lovely. We enjoyed being secluded in trees yet not feeling like the we were completely away from civilization. The community needs it own zip code! It’s massive! We made friend with the doe and buck that surround this property and enjoyed feeding them apples. We’ll be back!!

Great location. Nice inside, but need to replace the upstairs bedroom mattress, sinks in the middle and not comfortable to sleep on. Owners were great to work with, very friendly.

This home is exceedingly comfortable and clean, while nestled in a lovely wooded community. This spacious family friendly home provides more than ample elbow room for everyone. Kitchen is well equipped, linens and towels are provided, cozy fireplace ready for use, several TVs, free WiFi ( most definitely needed in that part of PA!), back yard deck and fire pit.
