Property is comfortable and spacious and a great location. It is an older home with some small issues but beds and living area super comfortable. Nice to have parking behind the house

Just what we needed for our short stay in East Lansing. So much better than staying in a hotel as we each had our own space.

Nice house for family stay

Property was clean and had everything we needed. Doors on second floor were hard to open and close. Nice location to see family in Michigan.

The house was very clean & the portable a/c units (floor units) worked great altho can be a bit loud on very hot days. Also on the hottest days, the primary bedroom smelled like soot. I’m sure on days with normal temps it wouldn’t be noticeable. If you have a very large car, the shared drive & parking area would be very intimidating as it is quite narrow, but there was always parking available down the block if needed. The host was very responsive when we needed to adjust our arrival timing, which we really appreciated!

Great house for Lansing Stay

My husband and I came to Lansing for the weekend with friends to visit the state capitol and the history museum. The house was perfect for our needs. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. It was very close to everything downtown. Thanks for a great stay!

Location was great and easy access to main roads. Easy parking. Would give a 5 star rating if master bedroom had electrical outlets near the bed and master lamp bulbs didn’t require charging to use. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of linens and extra blankets. House was 59 degrees with two portable air conditioners running full blast when we first arrived. Took awhile to find the thermostat located in the bookcase. Host responds quickly to questions and concerns.

Spring Break

Everything was as advertised. Parking in the rear of house was not good. It was very muddy and the surrounding neighbors had trash everywhere.

Overall Good

Overall the stay was good, the property is set up for slightly taller people (I'm 5'3) so meals were slightly challenging (dishes are up high and the chairs are pretty high). It's not a huge deal, but there weren't many outlets in the living room or master bedroom so I normally charged my phone in the bathroom or kitchen. The customer service was great and the host was professional. The property was clean and tidy.

The location couldn't have been any better. We were able to walk to many places. Inititially after being frustrated with a very finicky lock, Christina had someone come and replace the batteries in it and it worked beautifully after that. We were there during a very hot and humid time and with this house being as old as It is, it was very musty smelling. They had multiple plug in air freshners, but they couldn't cover it up. The portable air conditioners though worked wonderfully for keeping the place cool. The house was well supplied and had all that we needed. The beds were super comfortable. It was nice to have the parking area behind the house and off the street, however the area could use some upkeep. Overgrown vegetation, old outdoor furniture, etc. If I'm ever back in the area, I would stay here again.

The house was instagram worthy! It is a very old house that has been redone and nicely decorated. We had plenty of items in the kitchen that allowed us to cook as we pleased. The only consideration is that some of the windows on the top floor were without screens. Possibly bugs are not an issue in this climate however some window s were big enough a child could easily fall out. So if I had small children I would never have opened the windows which we did open windows to help with temperature control as the upper floor did get warm on hot days.
