Wonderful stay with my family

This was a stay for us and my family from out ouf state for my wedding! We were so busy decorating and were exhausted, this was our place to gather afterwards and rest. The HUGE dining table was perfect to gather for breakfast, enjoy each other and catch up. The place was spotless and the grounds were in tip top shape. We loved it and are already talking about coming back for another stay. Thank you Tegan for working with us and having a perfect get-together!!!

Perfect stay for my family

This is a house on stilts with the river practically in the backyard. It was easy to find, we didn’t have any issues with directions and the road is paved. You do not park on the gravel, as it is the neighbors property but that’s not mentioned in the check-in. Because this is a “tree house”, you feel it move every time someone walks around or goes up and down the steps. This house is well stocked and everything was easy to find. The only problem we ran into was food storage so we had to buy foil pans and ziploc bags, granted we stayed for almost a week so we were doing cooking and leftovers! The river access was the best part. Any time we wanted to get in, we would. It was never packed with people and since it was so shallow we just crawled or walked the whole thing. We took paddle boards and some of the kids used them, but it’s not deep enough for boats. I need to leave an honest review because I would’ve wanted to know these things. The windows aren’t fully covered so light gets in from everywhere. The neighbors by the tv room turn a spotlight on at night and it is bright. I wound up getting a blanket and using it to cover one of the windows so that helped. When issues arose she was quick to help and respond and I’m so thankful for that. Some guests don’t respect other people’s stuff, so my husband and I spent a whole evening fixing things in the game room. And 2 washers and dryers is a bonus! The 4 stars for neighborhood is because someone was shooting a shotgun

Nice Riverfront house with plenty of shade area underneath. On a very wide spot of the river that was good for kayaking. May trip river was roughly 3 feet deep near the shores and 1 ft in the middle. Outboard boats where able to get through. The house itself has plenty of room and everything you need to enjoy your stay. The only thing we had issues with where the stairs up to house where short steps so if you have big feet it is a little tricky. A good stay if you love being on the river.
