Excellent from start to finish ! Communication is great, the property is exactly as described, really cool setup. Plenty of room for the truck and boat, main cabin is stocked with many amenities and having ability to grill or use blackstone a plus. Close to the lake. We would definitely stay here again ! Thanks !

Excellent Property

Came out to fish a couple days. Property is not too far from Calamus and perfectly set up to keep the truck and boat inside so we don’t need to cover each night.

Great place

I was in town to visit friends at a ranch North of Burwell. We had some people over for dinner and the charcoal grill and Blackstone griddle made preparation easy. The place is very comfortable and relaxing

Great Place

Awesome for us. Could pull the boat and pickup in so we didn’t have to cover it every night and everything could stay in the boat when we got back from a long day of fishing.

I was skeptical as just one month prior I'd stayed in another residence which was not as listed but this Vrbo listing was even better than what it showed. It was an excellent place to stay, they had even more than what was listed so was pleasantly surprised. I had a couple of questions, they answered immediately, had clear instructions before checking in. I would gladly stay at this place if ever in Burwell for the Rodeo.

Everything was as advertised. I wasn't fishing but I could see how it would be a great setup for that. The only shortcoming for us was that there was no wifi. I did set up Hotspot. It worked for awhile. Then our cell signal was too weak. Not sure what that was about, but none of us had much signal. Overall it was a great family reunion that we went to in neighboring Taylor.

We had an outstanding stay at Fisherman’s Retreat in Burwell. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fishing trip. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a long day on the water.The highlight for me was the drive-through garage. Being able to pull my truck and boat straight through without unhooking was a game changer. It made loading gear, charging batteries, and getting an early start each morning incredibly easy. It’s one of the most fisherman-friendly features I’ve seen at a VRBOIf you’re coming to fish Calamus, Sherman, or the surrounding lakes, this is an excellent place to stay. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the Sandhills. Highly recommended!
