Quietly nestled on thirty acres of serene Tennessee mountainside lies this beautiful 3,240 sq foot cabin. Newly built, this lovely cabin has everything you need for the perfect peaceful escape. This cabin has a roomy, open floor plan containing two bedrooms housing king beds and a large loft with a full bed and three twin beds. Family room has 2 queen sofa sleepers. The professionally designed kitchen includes all of the necessities for a large festive event or a simple gathering.

Enjoy fishing and paddle boating on our large pond, explore the mountainside adjoining the National Forest, and close out your day by relaxing on the front porch overlooking the lake for the ideal evening experience. Bring your horses and take advantage of our 3 stall barn and ample riding area. With all of the offerings of rafting, kayaking, zip lines at Hartford plus Asheville, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Knoxville close by, there’s no lack of activities available to make your vacation the getaway of a lifetime.

Great place-we highly recommend!

This cabin had everything you need for a family getaway. We spent pretty much all day fishing, walking the creek, and relaxing. The host was honest and communicated quickly and accurately. I recommend this place-and we will be trying to come back again too!

Amazing property

This cabin was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 6 children). The view was gorgeous, we fished the pond frequently, and the kiddos loved exploring the creek area. The owners did a wonderful job of keeping in touch and answering all of our questions. I use VRBO pretty frequently and this was our favorite rental so far!!

No Place I’d rather be!

We had a Great time with our children and their families at this out of the way paradise. We fished, played in the stream, rode on the paddle boat and enjoyed each other’s company. Made lasting Memories. We were truly Blessed.

Mountain House Vacation

Beautiful house and lovely property. Well suited to our age range of 70 to 4 years old. Kitchen nicely equipped and spacious. A bit difficult to find - road signs are sparse! Well worth the effort to be able to sip morning coffee in a rocking chair on the porch and watch the birds. We all hope to return another summer.

One night in the mountains

The house had all the amenities, had an open atmosphere, and was well suited for a family gathering. If you like being away from the crowds this is a good place. Daniel the host answered questions. No phone service, but has wifi. I think the directions could be better as the trip up to the property went on some narrow and twisty roads. On the way back I made a wrong turn and got on a much better road that led right to the interstate. It is a nice place

Wonderful experience!

Our stay at your home was absolutely amazing. My children and grands fished, played in the strea, explored and just had the best time overall. Everything was clean and the owners made contact with us to insure that he was available if we needed anything. This property is close to everything but secluded enough to be "alone". We loved it...added bonus...my daughter was proposed to on our last day there! Even more special!

Off the Beaten Path

The property location is well off the beaten path and during winter months renters should have vehicles capable of maneuvering in snow. The owner is very helpful and the property reflects his pride in ownership. We had planned on making trips to Gatlinburg and Maggie Valley but decided to spend more time enjoying this incredible property! I would highly recommend packing enough supplies so that you don’t have to leave the property.

Absolutely perfect!

This place is heaven on earth. We come from a busy densely populated area of Massachusetts, so the peace and quiet was awesome. We used the fishing pond everyday (we had a 6, 8, and 2-13 year old kids) and they loved the paddle boat and trying to catch the "big one". The rooms were perfect for our 8 people and the large kitchen and table were just perfect for our family meals. Daniel was by far the best host we have come across. He was attentive and always there when we needed him. He also went above and beyond what a host is expected to do. I cant wait till next year when we head back and take another amazing vacation in this little slice of heaven.

Absolute serenity!

This was the most relaxing place to stay and have a family time. Wasn’t sure we would ever get Grandpa away from his front porch rocking chair! I will say make sure to NOT use gps to get there. Follow the directions given on the site! We drove in very late at night and Siri took us on. Midnight tour of Appalachia down some VERY scary and narrow mountain roads. We realize this was our bad and have laughed in hindsight.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains for a big family

A great property and attentive owner. Enough room for a large family (2 adults, 9 kids) and plenty of activities. The mountain creek is fun to play in, fishing in the pond, hikes in the mountains (the appellation trail is only a mile hike up to snowbird mountain) and many other parks and destinations. The cabin was large and very clean. The owner met us just off the highway to guide us the final steps (although it's easy enough with directions). Bathrooms all worked well, with good showers. Dish washer, grill and stove all worked great for home cooked meals. Overall a wonderful time in the mountains. The owner worked with us on a split trip with a return stop on our way from another destination, very flexible and accommodating. Worthy of my vacation days and money.

Incredible spot for a family getaway

The location was amazing. Literally out in the wilderness. We saw bear right outside of the property. We fished in the small lake which was super clear. You could see straight to the bottom it was so clean. We tried the entire time to catch the 18 inch bass we could see swimming, but could only catch their little brothers lol. You gotta take something impressive to get the big ones attention! The house is amazing. The furniture and beds are super sturdy. If you're a heavier person who has worried about that, this is the place for you. I just can't say enough about it. My mom wants to plan her wedding there! The hosts were amazing as well. We never saw them but they were in constant contact the day of our arrival and made it very clear they were there for anything we may need. There is a home phone, because you won't get cell reception. But the wifi is pretty good. The add says the washer and dryer are coin ran, but they are not. They are free to use. If you're on the fence, definitely go with this spot!!

Cool Valley

The property was nice. House was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very peaceful and quiet, which is what we were looking for.. Mom and 3 daughters just hung out and played games and enjoyed each others company.Only disadvantage was no WIFI.

Our daughter wanted a Tennessee wedding so thats what we gave her. Owner was great it is a ride to get to the property off the hwy but I feel like when you go to Tennessee that is part of the experience. Was a great house and property to walk around and relax with friends. Awsome place to do the small wedding are daughter wanted everything turned out grwat.

Perfect family getaway

This was an easy booking. Hosts were very communicative. Property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and everything described. It was cozy and with 14 people ranging from 2-68 years old we had enough space to play games and spend quality time together. We even enjoyed the row boat out on the pond! I would recommend to others.

Tennessee Thanksgiving

The property was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described we booked this vacation for our children and our grandchildren. It was our Christmas present to them. They were so excited to go when we got there, They were absolutely amazed at the property the house that was so large and more than accommodating the pond, the fire pit, and being able to ride the side-by-side up to the top of the mountain, where there was snow During the day we took day trips back-and-forth to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge, which was absolutely beautiful all the time they were praying for snow the night before we left as we were returning from Gatlinburg. It started to snow and the next morning they woke up to a winter wonderland Our six year old granddaughter was so excited to see snow and play in the snow. She had got her Christmas wish. I would also like to add that due to the fact that we had never rented a VRBO before we made sure we took everything we would need for the whole week that we were going to be there to our surprise when we got there they had everything we needed Except for the food which we had also brought with us we would like to say thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin for the time that we did we would highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a family getaway. Perfect getaway

The drive to the property is absolutely beautiful. The property is secluded and perfect for the family. The beds were comfortable, and the house came with everything to have a perfect family vacation. The grandkids loved the catch and release pond. We had a couple questions during our stay and the hosts responded super fast. A great experience.

Why they chose this property

Going to Grassy Fork is getting away from the pressures of the everyday life. There is no cell phone service but we do have internet, wifi and landline. There is only peace and quiet and the enjoyment of God's beautiful creation. We go up often just to take advantage of the serenity which we hope you will enjoy too.

What makes this property unique

This cabin has two bedrooms and a loft area for sleeping. In all there are 8 beds and lots of room for mattress on the floor. Also, couches and sofas. The property is to itself on 37 acres with pond with stocked fish. I live 16 miles away in the valley. From the Cabin to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge is about 50 minutes. Kids love this place, playing in the creek, paddle boat, feeding fish, catch and release, fire pit, making smores, big yard, two bridges over the creek, if you have AWD or 4x4, go to top of Snowbird Mtn. and hike the A.T. to Wildcat Springs about .88 miles.
