My family, 2 dogs, and I had a wonderful stay here! The property has beautiful views and the small community is quiet, peaceful, and serene. It is only 15 minutes away from the beautiful, small city of Woodland Park where we would go to pick up food, and only about 30-40 minutes from Manitou Springs. During our visit, we saw deer, turkey, and even a black bear and her cub wandering around the property. It was such an amazing break from life in the city! The owner was responsive to our questions and has everything labeled and arranged nicely in the kitchen and bathrooms. The place is very clean and well stocked, and even had board games, books, and local attraction information available. My family and I enjoyed many a game of UNO!I would definitely recommend a good 4X4 or AWD vehicle as the dirt roads have some steep inclines. That said my FWD Chrysler Pacifica van did well since it was summer during our visit. I'm glad we didn't get any rain!
Trey was super responsive before our trip and during a stay! The cabin was super comfortable for our family of 5 with great views of the mountains and wildlife.
We had a great stay at this cute little cabin! It was exactly as pictured in the listing and was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was very communicative and answered our questions quickly. Our only concern was with the smart sink — while washing dishes and cooking, the water would randomly auto shut off and we’d have to wait about 5–10 minutes before it would work again. It was a little inconvenient, especially while preparing meals.Other than that, we had an amazing time and would definitely plan to come back in the future!

This place is outstanding. The area is serene, the views are outstanding, and the wraparound deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The hot tub was clean and ready for us and we enjoyed the snowfall immensely while relaxing in the bubbling water. We all had plenty of room to spread out (2 adults and 2 teenagers), and it was easy to hang out together as well. The host of impeccably clean, the temperature can be set to personal liking in each room, there are plenty of towels, and the kitchen has everything you need. There's no fuss at checkout... all we had to do was start the dishwasher and take out the trash. Our german shepherd really loved "talking" to the flock of turkeys that seen to hang around the neighborhood. 10/10 would stay here again!
This is no doubt a great property. The layout, the cleanliness, and location were fantastic. My family and I had no issues, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Definitely one of the best rental homes we’ve ever stayed in.
Wonderful stay in Woodland Park at Trey’s beautiful home. We appreciated how easy and clear instructions were to access the home and how simple the process was to leave as well. The home was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and we enjoyed seeing deer while sitting on the deck and driving to and from the home. Overall great stay!
I stayed at Trey’s lovely home 7 nights in early May. Messaging, instructions, rules, etc. were succinct but comprehensive.Getting to the home is not difficult via county roads, albeit you’ll want the right vehicle.Concerning the home: it’s cozy & charming, beautifully furnished & decorated & very well equipped with brand new appliances. All the things you have in your kitchen arsenal at home, extra blankets, spare pillows, hangers, etc. are on hand & well organized here. Each room has its own thermostat & heater—everyone get’s their own climate!Views are the word. This home is on some incredible property overlooking the mountains & Woodland Park. Coming in/out of the neighborhood you get the most incredible views of Pike’s Peak (amazing sunrise). Most of our time was spent taking it in on the back deck. Turkeys are afoot—not a single day where we didn’t see at least 4 roaming around & foraging. The home has great WiFi—Verizon service (5G UW) was good, consistently 100/15 on an iPhone 15 PM. Starlink coverage is great too.Plenty of space for a dog to fully eliminate on property. You’ll want to take big dogs to the nearby Castle Rock park in Divide for play time. We had the park to ourselves 2x daily, every day! The empty space next to the washer downstairs almost seems built for an XL Kong dog crate. All in all, Trey’s home was great place to get away & take in the abundance of natural beauty CO offers; such a wonderful blessing! Highly recommended!
My parents & I had an amazing stay in Woodland Park! The property was incredibly clean, cozy, and offered beautiful mountain views...and I do mean BEAUTIFUL. I also cooked the whole time we stayed, great set up in the kitchen. Trey weas attentive and left thoughtful touches. We can’t wait to come back!

About the host
Hosted by Trey Cole
Hello, fellow travelers! I'm a curious soul with a deep love for discovering new cultures and experiences around the country and the globe. Accompanied by my wife, our two young kids, and two furry companions, we embrace each journey as an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the richness of diverse landscapes and traditions. Comfortable in a quiet campsite or in a crowded city, I am adaptable and balanced.
Why they chose this property
The Pikes Peak region is underrated and an absolute gem in the Front Range of Colorado. Only 30 min to Colorado Springs, 1.5 hrs to Denver, and yet it feels like a remote escape! Our neighborhood has snow removal (4wd recommended in winter; roads are dirt and may have seasonal potholes) and the neighbors live here full-time. Consider this as your mountain retreat, but with all the amenities!
What makes this property unique
The views! Epic views from 9200' elevation. You can see 14ers in the distance. Wildlife is abundant - deer, wild turkeys, birds big and small.
