Amazing host. Amazing environment. You can feel the stress leave as soon as you get here. Birdwatchers haven! The sandhill cranes and Mexican whistling ducks are two rare treats.Cabin is comfortable and nicely appointed. Go fish the marsh or fish off the lighted dock. We caught fish both places. Hated to leave.

Enjoyed our stay. The air conditioner will freeze you. It was awsome. Enjoyed sitting outside when the shade was out watching all the gators swim and the fish jumping out the water. So peaceful and serene. Very clean,nice little cabin. Highly recommend.Will be returning next year.

An amazing place to rest and recoup from life! I loved having my morning coffee by the water, listening to nature come to life. Very quiet and relaxing area surrounded by water. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Chip and Karen are super nice and made our stay fabulous! We’ll definitely be back!

So nice and quiet! Very clean and comfortable. Bring a gas stove if you want to cook as there is only an air fryer and microwave. Wonderful stay!

Our favorite place!

Everything about this place is just what we looked for. This was our second trip and we’ve been sad to leave both times! We are already trying to make plans for the next trip!

Relaxing stay

Awesome little tiny home right on the water. Took our camp stove and had bacon and eggs on the bayou every morning. Close to National Forests, Parks, and preserves. Definitely want to stay again!
