Thanks so much for the kind words. Glad you traveled to see Nada Tunnel. It is a must see on your way to Red River Gorge.
An amazing cabin. We absolutely loved it! We had the best time! Very clean and cozy. Great place to stay if u enjoy hiking. The kids had so much fun making smores, catching frogs and playing the board games that were there. Our four year old learned how to play “slap jack” and is obsessed! The dogs loved exploring outside. The sunrises and sunsets r amazing!

Thank you for the kind words. We hope to host you again when you are back in Kentucky.
What I liked best was how clean the cabin was. We enjoyed the setting. Sitting on the porch or balcony and looking at nature. Good area for taking walks/hikes. The steps to the bedrooms were a little steep for us (we are a little older). The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked dinner each night and were able to find all the utensils/pans we needed. The fire pit was nice as well. A good supply of wood (but some pieces needed splitting). Overall an excellent place to stay.

So happy you enjoyed Cherokee Cabin and the property! We would love to host your family again!
We had a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely amazing, and the cabin offers plenty of privacy surrounded by nature and beautiful trails. It’s thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We would definitely recommend it!
Everything at Cherokee Cabin was perfect. The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was and how nice it smelled. The hosts thought of everything so you can really come and relax without a worry in the world. They were responsive to questions, often within minutes of texting them. The property is beautiful and the view is amazing. We were cozy and comfortable the whole time and can’t wait to come again. One small note: the stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep and may be difficult for some to navigate, including pets. Our doodle made it up but wasn’t sure how to get back down. Overall, 10 out of ten stars!

My wife and I purchased this cabin in November 2023 and have been renovating the cabin as well as cleaning the property. We enjoy the serenity of the property with the cliff rocks for your back yard and view of lake from the front. We have seen abundant of wildlife including a young black bear.
Why they chose this property
Cherokee Cabin is the only residence on Cherokee Road. Does have a few neighbors on Cold Cave Road. Typically a quiet neighborhood with different wildlife on the property. We do have black bears in the area.
What makes this property unique
Cherokee Cabin offers lake view of Cave Run Lake and cliff views of Daniel Boone National Forest.
