A great place to get away. Very clean, quiet with spectacular views. All the amenities included. The host was gracious in supplying breakfast items and bottles of water. We would definitely visit again.
Host went above expectations. Provided bagels, muffins, even eggs and sausage if we wanted to make breakfast. Secluded area, beautiful view. Couldn't possibly ask for anything more.
Breathtaking location. We spent one night here and we loved it. The linens were clean, they had sausage, eggs, water a few other items. Lots of fire wood if you wanted a fire, a fenced in area for your dog and also left chews for our dog. The owners communicated well and the location was easy to find. We would like to stay here again if we come.back to this area. .
The property was stunning and the view was just amazing. The owners left some breakfast in the fridge for us to cook Plus anything else we could possibly need. That was very thoughtful of them. Waking up to this beautiful view through the big windows was breathtaking.
The pictures do not do this view justice, I will tell you that much. I booked this last minute trip and John and Aleta were so great. They provided everything I could have needed and more, and were very accommodating with a requested change in the check in time. There was a big storm the night I was there, and John was nice enough to reach out and offer another night, free of charge, because of it. Couldn’t have had a better experience.
We stopped here just for an overnight stay on way to another destination. The cabin was packed with all we needed. The decor was beautifully rustic. My wife said the antiques and smell from wood burning stove made it feel like we were staying in Cracked Barrel. (That’s a compliment). The hosts were very gracious and promptly replied to any questions we had.
This is a property with a million dollar view. It is a quaint little cabin that has everything you could ask for. It is very tastefully decorated and supplied with anything you could need for a trip including food there for breakfast. That came in very handy as it was extremely cold and kept us from having to go out early .I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a breathtaking view. Anytime I am in the area I hope that it will be available.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this little cabin. The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The cabin is rustically charming and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were very conscientious in providing special touches that added to the pleasure of our stay. Being able to bring our two dogs with us is a big plus. With a little driving, this place is close enough to Rock Island and Fall Creek Falls State Parks. We stayed in the early spring and loved the view. Although the area and view from the cabin would be beautiful at any time of year, we've booked to come back in October--which should be awesome! A special thanks to the hosts for sharing their beautiful view!
Cute little unit that has incredible views. Bathroom, water pressure great. Location is quiet and peaceful. Wish there were window blinds or curtains so you don't wake at crack of dawn! A hot plate to cook would be great. Unit has great fridge, microwave and oven. Washer and dryer. Communication with owners was fine.
