Clean Comfortable cottage with open family spaces for meals, board games, and visiting. With 8 adults we had plenty of room.Easy short walk to the beach.

This was the perfect house for a beach getaway! Although we could only stay 1 night, we would've loved to stay longer...the host was so accommodating, allowing us to check in early (although we ended up arriving after check-in time after all); then giving us an extra hour the next morning to enjoy the beach! Definitely choose this house for your Oregon coast stay.

This house was absolutely adorable! The seating rooms were great. A new couch was nice to see compared to what was pictured. It’s an older house but the owners have put new touches around the house. And the beach access was super close! A nice little path takes you right to the beach and a beautiful view of the twin rocks. This is definitely a house my family would stay at again.

Perfect...almost. I drive 3 days from Minnesota to meet friends from Portland and Seattle with my dog. House was funky, fun and ample space for us to laugh, drink wine and walk our dogs on the beach. Only a small hiccup with propane, but a tank and tools were brought to us within an hour. Can't ask for more than that! Friendly and accommodating, we loved our time together. Only issue is the yard is not fully fenced, so you cant just let them out, but the space was great!

Ocean return

We have stayed at this house for the past 5 or 6 years, and we keep coming back. Beachbreak is very good to work with - they are real people. The house is basic, clean, comfortable, private, and 3 minutes from the beach. It's always the same. (Kudos for new kitchen towels and more bath towels.)

Highly recommend this listing - so many comforts from home and more than we even realized we needed. Thank you for having multiple rooms to lounge and relax in after a day at the beach. We enjoy the many books the rental had to offer and even completed on of their puzzles. The beach just a few blocks away down a beautiful path and felt secluded as this is not as popular of a shoreline as nearby towns.

House does not have any A/C so the upstairs portion was really hot (wish it was advertised more in description so we could have been prepared). Bring some fans or if the host could provide fans for each bedroom that would be great. Also had to sleep with windows open so a white noise machine or app on phone was necessary. Otherwise the house was super adorable and clean and exactly as pictured. The location could not have been more perfect, as the beach is literally out the front door and there’s a hiking trail nearby too! Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 6 loved our time at this sweet little cottage! What was very good: The home was easy to get into, and we loved the vintage vibe of the cute wallpapers and accents throughout. There is even a tape deck (just in case you wanted to pack your 80’s music and listen to it the real way…) The beach access is very close and safe, enabling us and our young adult kids to walk to the beach independently on a whim. One of the beach accesses even features a little swing right off the path- the little walk is beautiful even before you can see the ocean. We had a good time strolling on the beach and exploring. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook meals without trouble- there was even honey, which was a nice way to sweeten our coffee. There is no dish washer but we didn’t really mind. Not far from the kitchen is the garage access where we found the washer and dryer. As another reviewer mentioned, it was nice to have two separate living areas so when we were inside some could be sitting quietly reading or relaxing in one area while others watched TV or chatted in a different area.What held us back from full stars:A couple of things were missing/running low, and the pull-out couch did not have sufficient bedding BUT the host was extremely responsive and offered to run what we needed right over. Something tells me this was a one-time thing and it won’t be a problem for future guests at all.Thanks for the lovely stay and beautiful memories!

Cozy, comfy beach house with character

Comfortable! Lots of decorative touches with beachy character. The teen girls loved their privacy in their upstairs bedroom. We liked ours in the downstairs suite. And, if I hadn't already been smitten, there were books I wanted to actually read on the shelves! I got a ways through one, but we had good weather and weren't needing to spend much time there. When they said it was only a block to the beach they meant it. (Unlike another place we stayed that only meant that's where you accessed a long trail.) There's more to it on the inside than at first glance appears on the outside! Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the furnishings and amenities it provided!
