The Lakehouse is fully furnished with everything you will need to enjoy the lake with family or friends. The floors have recently been replaced along with a fresh coat of paint.
The house is on the lake and situated in a private cove. It is a great place to swim, fish, or just relax and enjoy the evening sunset. The dock is large enough for you to bring or rent a boat
There is even a canoe for you to take a cruise in the cove. The lake house is a perfect place for a multi-family vacation or a getaway with your friends.The house is conveniently located near Downtown Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Opryland Hotel, numerous state parks, Nashville International Airport, the Hermitage (historic home of Andrew Jackson), and many more Nashville-area attractions.

Great for family get togethers.

We had an amazing stay and enjoyed the house very much. It is perfect for getting families together at the lake. Great space for kids with options for activities. My only critique would be location to anything besides the lake.

Sanctuary

We were so excited and satisfied with the property. We had 4 generations (10 people in all) all together including littles and a grandma with a wheelchair. The two stories gave us space to be together and to spread out. The boat slip was great with canoes and kayaks!! Perfect place for games, reading, puzzles, laughs and good conversations across the ages! We hope to return in several years!

Very peaceful place to stay, Really enjoyed being right on the lake and having a big yard.

I'll try to leave a better review later, but overall, this was a wonderful experience. Great communication from the host before, during, and after the stay. Beautiful property and very relaxing setting that I hope to visit again in the near future. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Lakehouse Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse. The property was beautiful and the house was extremely clean. Amy was a wonderful host. She responded quickly to my messages and answered all of my questions. She sent us a list of restaurants and places to visit locally and in Nashville. She helped make our vacation extremely enjoyable!!

Lake Stay

Visited family in the area. Property manager was very responsive and had wonderful recommendations. The weather during our visit was not the best however the house was very spacious and had plenty of activities for us to enjoy. The screened in porch was my favorite where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening chats. Will definitely rent again.

Lovely lake house

We had a great time. The house and the lake were perfect. It was about 100° everyday so we spent the majority of our time in and around the water. Close enough to Nashville too. We will definitely come back.

Fabulous Lake House

My husband, our three children and I spent a wonderful week at this beautiful lakeside home. Amy, the owner, was such a pleasure that I was comfortable before we even reached the property. The house is gorgeous and so spacious! We were thrilled with every aspect and have already discussed returning. I could not have been happier with this vacation! Thank you, Amy. Spacious lake house

We spent a weekend at the lake house and loved it!! We were 11 adults and there was room for everyone! The beds were comfortable, internet service worked great, the kitchen had everything we needed and the porch provided a great atmosphere at night (we even saw fireflies!!). The deck was a plus; we got to fish and swim at the lake. It's in a very quiet and secluded area so it's a bit of a drive to get to the store. Other than that it is a great place to stay!! Amy was really great to work with. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your house!!

A nice house on the lake

The house was well kept and clean, right on the lake and with a large backyard Kitchen was reasonably well-equipped, though a little low on counter space. Beds were comfortable. The rickety bunk bed reported earlier is still rickety. We used the bottom bunk for a small child, but not the top bunk. A separate kitchen downstairs meant plenty of refrigerator space. All in all, a good time. This would be an especially good location for boat owners, as the attached dock is in great shape.

Long Weekend Getaway

Our family and our families BFF wanted a long weekend getaway for Spring Break. This was the perfect place for us!! The home was big enough for 5 kids (6-12yo) & 3 adults. We went canoeing, fishing, played ping pong, games, & just relaxed and had fun! We were close to Nashville, but really enjoyed both Lebanon & Gallatin. The house was set up great! 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths on main floor & basement set up with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom & cabin style beds. Both floors had access to outside, bathrooms, family areas, kitchens. Our trip started out with extremely inclement weather with tornados throughout the Midwest, our host was great to work with and answered all of our questions. Our kids are asking to go back already!

Everything was as expected. The house is a little dated but fully functional and comfortable. The kids/teens loved swimming and kayaking and found some fun games to play together in the separate basement area. They liked having their own kitchen! Lots of life jackets and some inflatable rafts. Wifi was solid. Beds were comfortable. Host was very communicative.

Great house for the whole family!

Getaway with family

Biggest pluses for us...coffee in the morning on the porch and the quiet! Fishing on the dock with the grandkids, they loved the competition. Wish tho that they had some seating on or by the dock. We played cards and games inside and that was fun too.

Perfect!

The house was perfect for our group of 9 adults. It was comfortable, clean, relaxing, and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay there again if we make it back to that area.

Our family LakeHouse has created years of memories for our family and friends. Our three children learned to swim like fish in Old Hickory Lake and enabled us to create the lake house rule of 'kissing the first fish you catch'. All three of the children are in college, so we don't spend enough time at the lake, so we are now hoping to help you create some great family memories.

...Our number one rule..'No having Fun' has sent many children screaming with glee off to the lake to swim and have 'fun'.

Why they chose this property

Our Lakehouse is a perfect place for getting away with family and friends. There are many places around the house, to have those little quiet conversationss to catch up with each other: Near the lake, On the screened porch, The dog trot, The side deck table, the ping-pong table garage or just paddling a canoe.

What makes this property unique

Since our house is located in a cove, the location is perfect for just floating on a raft and making conversation in the water. We are a short drive from downtown Nashville and a great place to relax after touring Nashville.
