Great location, ski just minutes away, you can see the tubing facility from the kitchen window, shopping and restaurants just minutes away. Even sunday church was only a 3 min drive! Home layout ideal for the whole family, we enjoyed a few rounds of pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was cozy and had beautiful mountain views even though it was not high up the mountain. Very easy access to the cabin and pet friendly. The cabin is even nicer in person than on the photos, our kids really liked it. We played pool everyday. We did not use the bedroom on the lower level. The only downside is that it has very thing walls so you can hear everything from the bedrooms upstairs but still not a deal breaker for us. Also the master bedroom bathroom upstairs does not have a door. However, there’s another bathroom in the hallway and also one in the lower area. Overall everything was perfect and we would def stay here again. Host was great, communication was excellent.

Maggie Getaway

we had a wonderful stay in Maggie Valley. My daughter and grand daughter as well as her friend enjoyed their stay. They shopped and visited waterfalls in the area. Our kitchen was well equipped and cooking was easy. Our light was out in the oven and over the stove and it made the doneness of our food a challenge but we were able to get passed that. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly look forward to next year!

Darn good place-darn good communication

The place was fantastic, suited our needs. Everything went off smoothly, everything was as described. We found a few minor things that we reported and one of the things I repaired ( no big deal, just glued the shelf back together) Miss Norma was quick to communicate with us. My family and I have been visiting western NC for over 20 years.. I finally decided that this would be the best place I knew, for a vacation home for my family, friends and to share with others.
I've been in the real estate business for over 20 years.. I've owned many rental properties and Love to share my home with others.

Why they chose this property

I wanted something centrally located to all that western NC had to offer. This home fit the bill! I can't tell you how much we enjoy spending time on the porch either catching up with friends or just reading a good book.

What makes this property unique

Our home will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. Two of the bedrooms are fitted with king beds while the game room has a pull out queen sofa bed and two twin beds are in the third bedroom . All beds have premium mattresses and upgraded bedding.
The home also has three baths, family room with fireplace and cathedral ceilings, fully outfitted kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining room, television, and washer and dryer. The downstairs bonus room is equipped with flat screen, board games, pool table, bar area with an additional mini fridge or a quiet place for a read.

The porch side with the mountain views offers outdoor dining and a gas grill. The downstairs porch offers a picnic table.

The home has also been equipped with a keyless entry system. No more searching for real estate offices to find and/or return a key. Of course, Wi-Fi and streaming services are provided. We can accommodate two cars in our driveway. Please know that on street parking is not allowed.

If you are interested in the Kids Ski Free, here is a brief description offered from Cataloochee Ski Resort. We are about 15 minutes away.. A paying parent (or an adult 21 and over) must stay at my property on a non-holiday Sunday through Thursday night prior to receiving a voucher for one child. Please contact the ski resort directly for additional information.
