About the host

We are a family of three living and working in Port Townsend. PT is a unique and special place, and all three of us are deeply connected within the community. We value this historic home, this wonderful town, and the guests we host with true gratitude.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Kelly, our property manager and your host. She has been taking care of guests and maintaining the home for over 7 years and we couldn't do it without her.

We purchased the home in 2014 out of foreclosure and it was in rough shape. Much love was put into fixing it up, and we are astonished every time we look at it and think "wow, how where we able to do this?"

Our family was inspired to open a "pensione" after my wife and I spent time at one on our honeymoon. We loved that the whole family was involved. The husband drove us around, the wife made us comfortable, and the kids brought us coffee and tea. It was a vision for our family we wanted to re-create.

Why they chose this property

We chose this home because it is in what we believe to be the best location in Port Townsend, it has had many major improvements to it, and because it "felt" very right.

What makes this property unique

This location is literally as perfect as it can get in Port Townsend. Blocks from both downtown and the uptown district with views, peace, and a vibe that can't be beat.
