This was our second stay at this amazing home. These hosts knocked it out of the park with the quality of the home and furnishings. Our family absolutely loves it here for the home, it's location and the amazing views. Thank you for making it such a special place for family memories to be made.
Really nice home. Great furniture. Beautiful mountain view. Post Creek flows by the property. Hard to ask for a better setting. Loved our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Thank you Will, and you’re always welcome to come back.
This place was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The views are breathtaking and the kids all enjoyed sitting outside or in the hot in and just enjoying the scenery! We also had a lot of fun in the creek right by the house! Great memories were made by all!

Thank you for choosing our home. You’re welcome back anytime.
We enjoyed our time at this house! We loved the pretty mountain view and seeing some deer everyday! The large yard, the privacy, the patio, the hot tub, the river, were all added blessings to our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked and fit our family of 10 well.
Beautiful home with incredible mountain views. We enjoyed watching the deer come and go every morning and evening. House was clean and up to date. Excellent communication. Location is great for those who like to be away from it all. It’s about a 2 hour drive to GNP, 30 min to Polson and 45 minutes to Missoula. The kitchen was fairly well equipped - either we couldn’t find or it was missing just a few things we needed (muffin pans, cast iron skillet, etc.) Still we were easily able to make do and cook several meals. The water in the creek was high and a little murky due to recent rain - this may have also brought out more mosquitos. Bug spray is a must if you want to enjoy the fire pit or other outdoor amenities. We loved our stay here and hope we get to stay again someday. Highly recommend.

Reid. You were great guest and are welcome back anytime.
You're correct with the murky/mosquitos. We had record rain for this area this time of year. In the last 3 weeks leading up to your stay we probably had a total of 5-6" of rain which is very unusual for this time of year. Combine that with mountain snow melting and the creek was high and rushing. The rain like that brought a breeding ground for mosquitos which aren't fun.
Thanks for the recommendations on kitchen items. One reason we don't have a cast iron pan at the house is due to having a glass top stove. Those are prone to scratching and or cracking glass tops. We look forward in hosting you in the future if you so choose to.
Property was exactly as described. What we liked the most: house was spacious and had 2 separate living areas, lots of comfortable seating both inside and on the two outdoor patio areas, comfortable mattresses and bedding, large picture windows with views of the rural landscape and mountains, a creek bordering the property (with trout), lots of wildlife, property was very private and quiet, house has been updated and was clean, rural feel but convenient to St Ignatius town (2-3 miles maybe?) for groceries (Rods Harvest Foods and the Mission market and deli), general supplies/hardware, post office, and a few restaurants, gas stations etc… it’s very close to the Natl Bison Range which we always go to early in the mornings to watch and photograph wildlife. The WiFi worked great so we could work from home as needed (we brought our own printer). Communication, check-in, check-out, and keyless entry were flawless and house was ready when stated. The owners/hosts were trustworthy and responsive. We visit this area regularly and were pleased to find a vrbo like this one available in this area. The property was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again on future visits.
My husband and I spent several nights at Laurie’s river house in St. Ignatius and absolutely loved it. The house was clean. The beds, amenities, etc. were all so comfortable. They had everything needed for cooking or grilling out. The setting was incredibly peaceful and we loved having the cows, deer and Mission mountain range as neighbors. We did not want to leave and really appreciate getting to stay! I cannot say enough good things about it! It was an easy drive from Missoula and the National Bison Range and town of St. Ignatius were so fun to explore.

Thank you so much Sarah for choosing River House for your stay. Thank you for cleaning up and caring for our home. You are welcome to come back anytime. I am glad you enjoyed the peacefulness, and wildlife.
We booked this amazing river house for our family of 9 ranging from 10 mo - 84 yrs for my nieces wedding! The house and EVERYTHING in it was top notch! It was all so new, clean and top of the line, we felt very spoiled while we were there! It was also a great location for us, being a short distance from family in Missoula, and the wedding venue in St. Ignatius. Although the beautiful pictures enticed us to rent, they still don't capture the real beauty of the property inside and out! The hosts provided everything that we needed, including so many baby items! This place was a slice of heaven for our family. THANK YOU!
Rooms very nice and roomy! All amenities were great!
Only had 1 issue. Last night AC wouldn't turn down grom 78 and it was a hot 95 deg day. Fans helped.
Electric went out during the night for a few hours we were without power.

Thanks so much for your stay. You’re welcome back anytime. So sorry about the AC we seen on our app it was turned off but we assumed you had turned it off. So sorry we didn’t know about the electric we should have reached out. Hope you still had a great time.
We booked the place for a wedding, we dad 11 people and it was perfect. Pictures don’t do justice, this place was spacious with Comfortable beds and house was situated near a creek where we caught some trout. There were animals that visited the property. Deer and you are surrounded by friendly cows in neighboring land. The highlight was a Mama Bear and cub. It was a glorious sight. Don’t hesitate and book this place asap!! Owner was always in reach if there is any questions.
