Duke's Den is a family-owned, four-season cottage nestled in the charming town of Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Our cottage retreat features two cozy queen-sized bedrooms and a loft with an additional queen-sized bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and serving dishes, perfect for whipping up a delicious meal. Alternatively, you can indulge in numerous local restaurants, quaint ice cream shops and markets nearby.
No matter the time of year, there's always something to do in the vicinity. In the winter, embrace the snow by hitting the slopes for skiing or snowboarding. Spring and summer are ideal for hikes, adventurous geocaching, and refreshing swims in the lake. Just a three-minute stroll from our home, Emerald Lake beckons with its public beach and boat ramp. Spend your days basking in the sun by the lake and your evenings cozied up around the fire pit in our backyard. As autumn arrives, immerse yourself in the breathtaking fall foliage and embark on scenic drives and hikes. Whatever the season, Duke's Den promises a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, waiting just for you!

Loved this place for our weekend stay! So cozy and adorable. Love the kitchen, all amenities you could need was there for you. The couch was so comfy and the loft was so cool. 10 min from downtown and 30 min from Concord. Would definitely come back!! Host was super helpful, nice and responsive!

Dukes Den

My family stayed at Duke’s Den from Tuesday to Monday. Our son was getting married in Hillsborough so we did not have enough time to enjoy all the amenities of the area. However; we did that a Stroll to Emerald Lake, which was just a few minute walk down the road. Emerald Lake would be a great area for fishing kayaking and swimming, it was beautiful. The cabin was amazing, clean … modern .. and had all needed to make delicious meals. Erica and Dan are attentive and answer any questions you may have in a timely manner. We can not wait to stay again and enjoy all the emerald lake and surrounding areas have to offer !
