We were very impressed with how clean it was. It did have a bit of a musty smell when we first walked in but it is a very old house that has been updated so that could be why. We would definitely go back again if it was a bit less expensive…especially because it was at the end of the summer. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

**A Wonderful Place to Stay in Latta, South Carolina!**My father, brother, nephew, and I had the pleasure of spending five days together in Latta, South Carolina, during our family hunting trip. While the hunting was what brought us together, the memories we made are what we'll cherish most. From early mornings to evenings spent sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying each other's company, this trip was truly special. We are so grateful to have had a place where three generations of family could come together, relax, and make lasting memories.Thank you for being part of such a memorable family experience. The time we spent together was priceless, and these are moments we'll treasure for years to come.**The best part of any trip isn't where you go, but who you share it with!**

The house is an outstanding example of Southern charm and hospitality. The host is excellent and quick to answer questions. The beds are really comfortable and the updates in the house are beautiful!

The host was wonderful! She gave me the history of the house and answered all my questions...even when I dialed her instead of the funeral home I needed to speak with! She was a delight. The pictures don't do the house justice ...it was huge! We used the front porch and rocking chairs a lot. (The front porch has a western exposure. If you stay on sunny, warm days plan for morning coffee instead of evening nightcaps.) The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, etc. There were extra chairs in the dining room for our larger party. She left clear instructions for logging in to wifi, using the TV, and chores to perform before checking out (none of which were unreasonable...don't be slobs, people!)There is a small screened-in porch off the kitchen (with an eastern exposure) if you stay on a night when the bugs are bad but need to get some porch time. If you get a chance, visit the library across the street. It shares some history with the house. It is a beautiful library and the librarian was incredibly friendly. The house is loaded with the charm and creaky floors expected in any old house. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and will be booking again if we are ever in the area again.

Wedding in Latta

Some of the groomsmen and I stayed here. The stay was an absolute blast. The house is not far from food and a very pretty home with a giant porch. Everything was clean and would recommend for anyone staying in town.

Great house, great location!

Beautifully renovated home is well appointed and conveniently located. Nice clean home with plenty of towels and extra blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals and extra tables for seating. Great location in Latta with easy access to Dillon, Florence, and Myrtle Beach as well as walking distance to historic Latta locations and the Dillon County Museum (a must see). We enjoyed sitting on the porch and rocking in the mornings.Honestly, the only thing that would stop us from staying again is the lack of internet. As a family of 5 with 3 teens and 2 adults who need to stay remotely connected to work, no WiFi made it difficult and inconvenient. Also, the TV in the living room said antenna TV, but we were unable to get any channels in clearly. We enjoyed our stay - if you add WiFi, we will book it every time we come to visit!
