lousy host !!! I made my reservation two months in advance and the day I was supposed to arrive at the house, about to arrive he told me that he had made a double reservation and that the house was already occupied and he does not want to return the money

Nice house in serious need of cleaning and maintenance

We were four couples for three days. The house looked good on the surface, but was lacking in several respects. There were no kitchen towels; there were no hand towels or bathmat in the master bath. The carpets weren't clean and smelled bad. The oven was filthy, as were the fan and light over the stove. The oven mitts were dirty. Numerous light bulbs had burned out. The walls in the master bathroom were scraped up and it looked like robe hooks and towel bars had been pulled out of the wall. Had there been a fight in there? Our host responded to our early requests for towels, etc., and sent a bag of supples. Other than coffee, however, the supplies were not what we needed and in the end we still didn't have the towels, etc. that we had asked for. This should have been a wonderful house but it needs serious maintenance and cleaning. I would not recommend it to anyone else.
