The house was immaculate and wonderfully decorated! Paula is a very responsive and accomodating host. We did a lot of cooking and would have liked a few more ktichen items available (bakeware, foil wrap, etc.) but we made do. Overall, the house felt like "home," and we enjoyed our stay.

The housekeeping could improve. It appeared as though the floors, including bedroom carpets, weren’t vacuumed prior to our arrival. Rotten food was left in kitchen cabinets. Backyard was riddled with cigarette butts. The water is on a well system, so the water had a very strong odor of sulfur…to the point that showering wasn’t an option because of the smell. If showering were an option, there were only 2 bath towels for four guests. The house is lacking everyday kitchen items, mainly pots and pans, but also coffee cups, drinking glasses and no cleaning supplies (such as dish soap, paper towels or dishwasher detergent). All of the above issues were reported to the host. She was very responsive and felt terrible about our stay. We’ve stayed in numerous VRBO’s, unfortunately this one wasn’t pleasant.
