Summary:

Welcome to Trail’s Edge Tahoe, a newer 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath South Lake Tahoe home where mountain adventure starts just outside the door. Hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing trails are about a 1-minute walk away. Inside, enjoy a private hot tub, game rooms with Ms. Pac-Man, foosball, darts and Xbox, plus a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable spaces for families and friends to relax and reconnect.

The Space:

At Trail’s Edge Tahoe, the trail is quite literally at your doorstep. Step outside and you're just minutes from hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing, then return home to three levels of comfortable living, games, and spaces designed for everyone in the group.

The main entry level is the heart of the home, with a comfortable sitting area featuring a gas fireplace and 50" TV, a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, breakfast bar, and convenient half bathroom. The kitchen includes a gas range and stainless steel appliances, with everything you need to prepare meals at home. The dining table seats up to six, with additional seating at the breakfast bar.

Step outside onto the deck and back patio to enjoy the mountain air, fire up the propane BBQ, or relax after a day exploring Tahoe. When it's time to unwind, the private hot tub is ready year-round.

Entertainment is spread throughout the home, giving families and groups plenty of ways to spend time together. The lower-level game room features Xbox One, Ms. Pac-Man, a TV, kids' books and games, and a twin-size futon. Upstairs, the loft includes a foosball table, digital piano, couch, 55" TV, and dedicated desk/work area. A separate dart room adds another fun space for friendly competition.

With a dedicated bunk room, multiple living areas, family-friendly amenities, and plenty of space to spread out, Trail’s Edge Tahoe is designed for groups who want to experience Tahoe together — both outside on the trails and inside the home.

Family-Friendly Hospitality:

Trail’s Edge Tahoe is prepared with families and groups in mind. Our home is cleaned, inspected, staged, and prepared before each stay, with sheets, towels, and bedding provided. Guests will also find everyday essentials such as soaps, lotion, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and more.

Family-friendly amenities include a highchair, children's dinnerware, baby gate, Pack 'n Play, books, games, and multiple spaces where kids and adults can spread out. The mudroom provides a convenient place to store coats and outdoor gear, while the washer and dryer make longer stays easier.

Additional hospitality includes direct entry, hot iron-pressed sheets, an iron, detergent, a bear box for trash management, and daily snow removal as needed during the winter. Early check-in and late checkout may also be available when scheduling permits. Our team provides 24/7 support throughout your stay, and reservations include accidental damage protection up to $1,500.

Year-Round Comfort:

The home does not have central air conditioning, but window A/C units are installed in both upstairs bedrooms, with additional fans available throughout the bedrooms. During warmer summer days, running the upstairs A/C units with the bedroom doors open can help cool the upper and middle levels. Tahoe's mountain evenings are typically cool, and many nights do not require A/C, but these units provide additional comfort during warmer weather.

Respecting Our Home & Community:

We love welcoming families and groups who come to Tahoe to enjoy the mountains, trails, lakes, and everything the area has to offer. Please treat our home and neighborhood with care and respect.

Guests are expected to follow all applicable South Lake Tahoe vacation rental regulations and house rules, including occupancy, noise, parking, pet, and community requirements. These guidelines help protect the home and preserve the peaceful mountain environment for our guests, neighbors, and the local community.

Whether you're planning a Tahoe ski trip, summer hiking adventure, mountain biking getaway, or family vacation by the lake, Trail’s Edge Tahoe gives your group a comfortable home base with outdoor adventure just steps away. From the trail to the hot tub, the game room to the kitchen, there's room to explore, play, relax, and enjoy Tahoe together.

Guest Access:

You will have private access to the entire cabin and property, excluding one locked owner closet. Enjoy all indoor areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and game room. Outdoors, you have exclusive use of the backyard, balcony, and hot tub, plus garage parking. All amenities are for your private use during your stay.

The Neighborhood:

Our home is perfectly situated for Tahoe adventures. Hiking, biking, and snowshoeing trails are just a minute's walk away. You are also close to top attractions, with Heavenly eight miles away, Sierra at Tahoe thirteen miles, and Kirkwood thirty miles. Pope, Baldwin, and Camp Richardson beaches are within six miles. For groceries, Raley's is three miles away and Whole Foods is seven miles, making it easy to prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen.

Getting Around:

We recommend traveling by car for the best flexibility in the Tahoe area. We provide free parking for up to four vehicles on the premises, but street parking is strictly prohibited. While public transportation exists, having a vehicle is ideal for reaching nearby ski resorts like Heavenly, eight miles away, or Sierra at Tahoe, thirteen miles away. Reno Tahoe International Airport is the closest major hub and is typically a ninety minute drive depending on seasonal traffic.

Other Things to Note:

We are very eager to share this home with travelers from all over. If you have any questions, want to negotiate a longer stay, or anything else at all - please let us know!
