About this property

Walk to Depoe Bay Harbor + Private Hot Tub | Sleeps 6 (#1)

Welcome to Harbor Lights 560 (#1), a spacious and inviting coastal townhome in the heart of Depoe Bay. Perfect for up to 6 guests, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath retreat combines the comfort of home with one of the best walkable locations on the Oregon Coast.

Whether you’re planning a family vacation, couples getaway, whale-watching trip, or a relaxing weekend with friends, Harbor Lights makes it easy to settle in and enjoy everything Depoe Bay has to offer. The multi-level layout gives everyone room to spread out, while the shared living spaces create the perfect setting for reconnecting after a day of adventure.

Inside, you’ll find a warm and comfortable living area with cozy seating, a fireplace, and plenty of room to gather for conversation, games, or movie nights. Natural light fills the space, creating a bright and relaxed coastal feel that matches the charm of Depoe Bay.

The fully equipped kitchen makes meals easy, whether you’re preparing breakfast before a charter trip, warming up chowder after storm watching, or cooking dinner together after a day exploring the coast. With nearby grocery options and local seafood markets, it’s easy to make the most of your stay.

Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully arranged to provide privacy and comfort, making this home a great fit for families, multiple couples, or small groups traveling together. Three full bathrooms make mornings simple and help larger groups enjoy the stay without the usual bottlenecks.

One of the standout features of Harbor Lights 560 is the private hot tub, the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring the harbor, hiking the coast, or watching whales offshore. Pair that with the cozy fireplace, and this home delivers the kind of classic Oregon Coast atmosphere guests are hoping to find.

Guests also love the convenience of being able to walk to Depoe Bay’s harbor, whale-watching charters, restaurants, coffee shops, and local boutiques. The seawall and harborfront are just minutes away, making it easy to enjoy the town without needing to drive.

Depoe Bay is known as one of the best whale-watching destinations on the West Coast, and Harbor Lights places you right in the center of it all. During migration season and throughout much of the year, whale sightings are common from nearby viewpoints, charter boats, and the scenic seawall.

Beyond town, you’re perfectly positioned for easy day trips to Boiler Bay, Otter Crest, Newport, Lincoln City, and some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Oregon. Tide pools, beaches, hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and fresh seafood are all within easy reach.

For guests traveling with a dog, the pet-friendly setup makes Harbor Lights even more convenient, giving the whole family a chance to enjoy the coast together.

What truly makes Harbor Lights 560 special is how effortlessly it fits so many kinds of trips. It’s large enough for a family coastal vacation, comfortable enough for couples traveling together, and relaxing enough for a quiet off-season storm-watching retreat.

Wake up, walk down to the harbor for coffee, spend the afternoon whale watching or exploring the coastline, then come home to the hot tub and fireplace for a relaxing evening.

This is the kind of Depoe Bay stay guests remember long after checkout.

Clean

House was nice, new, and clean. Being that they let animals on the property, I was pleasantly surprised to see blankets provided to keep the furniture a little more protected from the pets. The location is nice, and you can walk to the harbor and whale watching with ease. We will likely stay again.

The property is new and in great shape, access and parking were easy. I really appreciated the hot tub. The team provided me with a guidebook prior to check-in which was really helpful. It is located very close to whale watching opportunities and the harbor had otters in it! The manager reached out to try and return a left behind item to me. My only issue is the strong smell of pet (maybe dander), I would suggest regular deep steaming of rugs and maybe an air purifier. Thanks!

Birthday getaway.

Over all a good stay. Probably would book again. But have stayed at nicer vrbos in Depoe Bay before. We tried this one because it was new. Parking is not convenient and had to park a long ways from the unit with multiple trips back and forth to the car. The unit was clean other than dirty windows and nose prints on the inside of the windows. But the units are furnished nicely and we had everything we needed.

Why they chose this property

Harbor Lights 560 (#1) is the kind of Depoe Bay stay guests book when they want both space and location. With 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and room for up to 6 guests, it’s ideal for families, couples traveling together, or friends planning a coastal getaway.

What makes this home especially easy to book is how effortless the stay feels. You can park the car and walk to Depoe Bay’s harbor, the seawall, whale-watching charters, restaurants, coffee shops, and local boutiques. After a day exploring the coast, come back to your private hot tub, warm up by the fireplace, and settle into a comfortable evening together.

The multi-level townhome layout gives everyone room to spread out while still enjoying shared spaces for meals, games, and relaxing. The full kitchen makes it easy to stay in for breakfast before heading out to Newport, Lincoln City, or nearby beaches.

For guests bringing a dog, the pet-friendly setup makes Harbor Lights even more appealing, giving families one less thing to worry about.

What makes this property unique

What truly sets Harbor Lights 560 (#1) apart is the combination of walkability, privacy, and group-friendly comfort.

Unlike many Oregon Coast rentals where guests must drive everywhere, this location lets you walk to the harbor in minutes for whale watching, charter fishing, shopping, and waterfront dining. That convenience alone makes it a standout.

Inside, the 3 bedroom / 3 bath layout is a major advantage for groups. Multiple bathrooms reduce the morning bottleneck, while separate sleeping spaces make it easy for families, grandparents, or multiple couples to travel together comfortably.

The private hot tub adds a strong booking trigger year-round. Guests love soaking after storm watching, whale watching, or long beach walks. Combined with the fireplace, it creates that classic cozy Oregon Coast feeling guests are actively shopping for.

Being pet friendly also expands the booking audience significantly, especially for drive-market guests from Portland, Salem, Eugene, and Seattle.
