Serene log cabin style lodge on Bear Mountain in Medicine Park bordering Ft. Sill and the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Minutes from multiple lakes, including Lawtonka and Elmer Thomas.

Eco-Friendly & Accessible:
Primarily solar-powered and wheelchair accessible.
Views & Wildlife:
Enjoy spectacular mountain views and abundant local wildlife (elk, bison, deer, longhorns, etc.).

Activities:
Nearby access to well maintained trails or direct access to primitive trails. Swimming, fishing, and kayaking in nearby lakes/Medicine Creek.

Local Culture:
Explore the cobblestone village of Medicine Park, its entertainment, festivals, shops, and unique dining (Plantation Inn, Riverside Cafe,Tu Familia).

Amenities:
Sleeps up to 18 (8 beds, 3 futons and convertible couch), Extra bedding stored in storage ottomans.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please keep pets off all furniture and bedding. You will be charged an additional $125 fee for violation of this policy. Maximum of two pets allowed.
Turn off split unit heat/air conditioner in the game room at the end of your stay.
If using the fireplace please open the flue and remember to close at the end of your stay. If firewood is present please only use 2 logs per stay, as this is a courtesy but not provided.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
EXTERIOR DOORS: Please keep all outside doors closed. SHUFFLEBOARD: Do not throw or bang shuffleboard pucks. Slide only. INTERNET: Do not unplug modem
QUIET HOURS: Begin at 9:00 PM and end at 9:00 AM. We have wonderful neighbors we do not want to disturb EXTERIOR: DON'T remove cobblestones or plants
PARKING: Only on paved driveway surfaces. NO YARD/STREET PARKING. EVENT: Max 18 overnight. Max 30 day-visitors $500 event fee will apply (9AM-9PM).

Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. The problem we had was we all got ate up by chiggers or something like that from the seat cover outside. We all ended up having multiple bites!!! Well we think it’s from outside and the amount of spiders in the house was a little scary.

Fabulous property managed by an equally excellent host. This was our first trip to Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountains. Having lived in Oklahoma for 30 years. I can’t believe we didn’t make it here sooner. The natural beauty and history of this area is fascinating. As for this property, it would be tough to find a better place. This was the cleanest short-term rental we’ve ever seen and there were all sorts of games and outdoor activities to enjoy on the property. We already can’t wait to visit again.

Very nice. We stayed a couple of nights. Everyone was comfortable. My son graduated AIT at fort sill and we went back to the house to eat and rest a bit before taking him back. The town is so cute. Highly recommend.
