Hi, we are using Homeaway/VRBO for renters who love the slopes, the outdoors and places like Okemo. We are always open to compromise, specially in order to establish good relations with renters. We only rent to responsible families who are willing to treat this home as it if were their own (or better 😉).

Why is this home perfect for this traveling with kids?
1st- flexible check in and out. (and prices)
2nd- Proximity to town (we know how hard it is to move around with kids).
3rd- Proximity to OKEMO!! (1.8 miles away)
4rd- spacious home with extra play room in the basement.
5th- Safe space, with front lawn where you can monitor the kids while they play outside.
6th- Walking distance to the shuttle (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles)
7th- located on a private road, off a side street, but close enough to town for a quick run to the supermarket.

OUR HOME HAS QUICK ACCESS TO THE V.A.S.T. AND THE SHUTTLE TO OKEMO AS WELL AS TO MULTIPLE TRAILS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Sergio was great to work with both prior to our arrival and during our stay. Great location for our family of 4 and our black lab. Can’t wait to go back!

The house was a great place to stay to go skiing @ Okemo. The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well stocked . The house was very clean & Sergio responded to a discovery that I brought to his attention in the house. We enjoyed having our meals at the dining area table and not having to leave to go out to dinner. It snowed one of the days of our stay and the plow service came in the afternoon and did a great job plowing the driveway. If you are going to Okemo to ski the house is a place to stay with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The temperature was very cold outside but the house was warm & cozy.

However, we unfortunately felt that we were treated unfairly after our stay, which left us feeling discriminated against. Interesting… is that why you brought 3 pets and told me about 0 of them? Or is that why your pets defecated inside the house? Or was feeling discriminated against the reason why you broke the vanity in the bathroom? And by unfair treatment, did you mean the instructions weren’t descriptive enough? Or is that why you stopped responding to me when I asked about the above I’m just wondering where this is all coming from.

We are a small family from New York City looking for a quick accessible to he outdoors of the Green Mountain State. We fell in love with Vermont at first sight. We purchase this home to use as a hub to the nature and want to share it with those with a similar appreciation for the outdoors.

Why they chose this property

Each season brings a distinct beauty. Each day we spend here makes it so much harder to leave. So much so, that once we are in Ludlow, we find it hard to explore other towns!

The openness of our home is conducive to keeping our family as close and affectionate as a family should.

The location of the home is perfect, seconds from plenty of restaurants and bakeries, driving is not necessary. The shuttle to Okemo stops at the bottom of Preedom Hill (a short walk from our doorsteps), and then its about a 8 to 10 minute ride.

Okemo Pines is a place the world should see, ski and hike, and once you see it you will understand the same.

What makes this property unique

The accessibility to the town and to Okemo mountain was one of the biggest reasons for our choice (only 1.8 miles away). Yet, so was the granite top and brand new kitchen, as was the spacious deck in the back. But again, so was the huge living room, the quarter finished basement and also the detached 2 car garage.
