I had a great time. This was such a nice place to stay; very unique. Right in the middle of a small town, but you’d never know it. Although I just stayed one night and didn’t go anywhere (it was a wonderful night of solitude!) it’s close enough (10-20 miles I’d say) to so many places for families to go explore and enjoy. I would definitely go there again!
Stayed with the family. It was fun to stay in a unique building. The inside was clean and modern. We stayed here both because it looked fun and also because it's close to Glen Rose and the dinosaur valley state park.
The Silo was amazing! We especially enjoyed the hard rain that fell on that lovely tin roof! It was a great property for our Girls' Trip #21.Our only 'hiccup' was with getting inside the property -- but thanks to Vrbo's quick response, and then the homeowner's quick responses/assistance, we were inside in no time at all! Thanks for adding to our wonderful weekend experience!
The cabin was perfection! The listing doesn't do it justice. It’s much more beautiful and cozy than the pictures show. Beds so comfy. And actually comes with everything you need not like those listings where “fully stocked” means one rusted pan, in this place everything was like new and immaculate! She even supplies wood and starter fluid for fire which normally you'd have to get yourself. Would fully recommend!
We had such a fun time at the silo! It is exactly as it’s pictured on the website. It was nice to have one bathroom upstairs and one down. The location is perfect. We drove 12 miles into Glen Rose several times during our stay to go to Big Rocks Park and to try out some restaurants. We were close enough to Fossil Rim Wildlife and the Dinosaur World as well. It’s definitely an out of the ordinary adventure and worth every penny.
