Beautiful property with amazing views
We enjoyed the view: beautiful sunsets, spectacular view of the Pacific, and the grounds are beautiful. Very private. Outdoor living spaces were ideal rain or shine. Amazing pool! Indoor space and bedrooms are very nice, but we spent most of our time outside. Nice bathrooms and kitchen is well equipped.
We had great time, spent a lot of time in the pool.
Property was awesome, water systems and septic systems need upgrading. Bearly any pressure and little or no hot water for the showers. We have stayed many times in Costa Rica and the issues that I have mentioned seem to apply to most properties. We go for the Pura Vida and we were not disapointed.
Spectacular property with unforgettable views. The host did a great job making sure we had all we need and the house was fully stocked with the supplies you’d expect. There is a grounds keeper on the property who was very helpful in answering any questions and making sure the pool and rest of the property were well maintained. However this stay is not for everyone. The house took a bit of effort to get to due to the remote location and driving there at night required some navigational finesse. Since it is in the jungle, you can expect visits from assorted bugs in the evening. Beds have mosquito nets so it wasn’t an issue for us but since the wrought iron panoramic doors are not fully sealed, bugs and other insects are able to make their way inside. The doors do have weather strips which help somewhat. The water quality isn’t great for drinking and we had trouble getting consistent hot water when showering, though due to the hot weather it’s actually quite refreshing. There is also no AC in the house though there is a constant breeze and evenings are generally cool. We spent most of our time relaxing outside and by the pool in the day and made our way down to the private beach often.
