SOCO Condo in Quiet East Congress Neighborhood

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, which was recently fully remodeled. The house is decorated with local art, and you will fall in love with the neighborhood, and my neighbors. Super chill vibe here. Recently remodeled two story condo, with spacious kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook great meals, comfy living room with large TV, and private courtyard with custom lighting for relaxing or entertaining. The two upstairs bedrooms are comfortable, with the Master Bedroom as a bedroom, and the Second Bedroom as a study/reading room. You are renting the entire house, private courtyard, and single car garage. I live nearby, and can be available if needed. I can provide lots of recommendations for places to go and eat or hike or bike or drink or whatever. If you need anything at all while staying, please let me know so I can get it for you. I want you to be comfortable and happy! Quiet condo community, with Common Area, private pool, and ample parking. Lots of residents have pets and some have children. The Common Area is a great place to walk and relax and meet other residents. The house has a single car garage you can park in, as well as one parking space next to the garage. There is also parking along the curb.

Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave the garage door opener in the small shelf near the front door.
Please make sure there is no trash inside the house.
Throw the towels and bedclothes in the washer, but don't start it running.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets are allowed with prior approval. I will ask you to purchase an insurance police through VRBO to protect against any damage.
There is a pool on site that you can use, but we now require you to sign a waiver to use the pool area because we don't have a lifeguard at any time.

I came to Austin for a 3 month clinical. This cute place in South Austin was the perfect spot for me. Mark was an amazing host! Thanks Mark for letting me call this my home for a few months!

A Peaceful Gem Right Off I-35 This condo was the perfect home base for my time in Austin. The location is conveniently close to downtown & right off I-35 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Yet, the property itself feels like a peaceful retreat. As soon as I pulled in, I could feel how tranquil and quiet the community is.The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. There’s also a lovely pool, and the neighbors were all friendly and welcoming. My dog especially enjoyed walking around the property—it’s very pet-friendly!Mark, the host, was fantastic—super responsive and friendly, with great communication throughout my stay.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable, and well-located home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

I got divorced in 2015, and wanted to live near my work in South Austin, after living way out in Bastrop for 10 years. I found this little condo community and went to see how the property was at 7am one day. The Common Area was quiet and the trees were perfect and it felt really comfortable to me. I worked hard to get this condo, because it felt right for me at that time. I've never looked back. I lived in the condo for 6 years, and during that time I remodeled the whole place. When I decided to move in with my girlfriend just three miles away, I couldn't bear the thought of selling it. So now you get to enjoy it too!

What makes this property unique

I've always felt at home here. I hope you do too. The house is filled with art, some of which was created by my family, and the vibe here is very nice.
