This is it - The Grand View Cottage on Bainbridge Island with views of Puget Sound, Cascade Mountains and Seattle Sailing Club. This charming guesthouse nestled in the woods is 5 minutes from the ferry, shopping and restaurants. Newly renovated bath, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. The spacious living/dining area includes a queen size sofa sleeper, automatic blinds for privacy, and a desk. Expansive deck extends the entire front of house to view sailboat regattas, Alaskan cruise ships, submarines and more. Great for yoga retreats. Wifi, 2 flat screen TVs, music, books, games, binoculars and area information provided. Private entrance and parking. Come and enjoy our slice of heaven where the deer, eagles and sea lions play.

The cottage was adorable, well-maintained, well-supplied, and in a perfect location for our weekend getaway! We loved the property! John and Peggy were very gracious hosts. The bed was also super comfortable, which is a huge plus! We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely Bainbridge cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Lovely, quiet setting, roomy and comfortable interior that was well stocked with all the necessities, and close to shops and the ferry terminal. We plan to come back!

Weekend Getaway

I was in Seattle for work and we decided to check out Bainbridge for a couple days. Beautiful. The cottage was perfect for us. Great area, quiet with great views.

Great property on Bainbridge island. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. Not much of a view due to house in front, but still very quiet and nice. Would defiantly return

The Cottage on Bainbridge Island

The Hosts have created a warm and welcoming retreat for guests. The cozy Cottage has all of the touches of home that we appreciate so much when traveling. It is well appointed with heated bathroom floors and towel bars, high speed internet, a well stocked kitchen, throws on the sofa and bed, and more. The king sized bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows for sleeping or propping. The hosts were available and helpful and even connected us with a realtor couple who spent half a day showing us around the island. I whole heartedly recommend staying at The Cottage the next time you’re on Bainbridge Island!

Another perfect stay

We’ve stayed in this beautiful cottage multiple times and every time it’s perfect. The place has everything you need, it’s spotless, and Peggy goes the extra step with fresh cut flowers and a plate of cookies to greet you on arrival. Always a 5 star experience!

Another perfect stay!

This is our fourth stay at the cottage. As per usual, the place was immaculately clean. It’s such a cozy cottage in a beautiful woodland setting. John and Peggy are wonderful hosts. We arrived to yummy fresh baked cookies and beautiful flowers throughout the cottage.

I loved my stay at John and Peggy's cottage. They were great hosts and their cottage was super comfortable and in a great location. They went above and beyond most rentals - bedding, furniture and all the little extras were noticed by me. Top quality. It made my stay extra special.

Everything was perfect. Milk for coffee in the fridge! Soap for dishes, laundry all available! Freshly baked cookies to welcome us! The tile floor in bathroom was heated! Hosts so accommodating and friendly. It was wonderful. Would definitely come again!!!!

Weeding anniversary weekend
