This is it - The Grand View Cottage on Bainbridge Island with views of Puget Sound, Cascade Mountains and Seattle Sailing Club. This charming guesthouse nestled in the woods is 5 minutes from the ferry, shopping and restaurants. Newly renovated bath, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. The spacious living/dining area includes a queen size sofa sleeper, automatic blinds for privacy, and a desk. Expansive deck extends the entire front of house to view sailboat regattas, Alaskan cruise ships, submarines and more. Great for yoga retreats. Wifi, 2 flat screen TVs, music, books, games, binoculars and area information provided. Private entrance and parking. Come and enjoy our slice of heaven where the deer, eagles and sea lions play.

This is our fourth stay at the cottage. As per usual, the place was immaculately clean. It’s such a cozy cottage in a beautiful woodland setting. John and Peggy are wonderful hosts. We arrived to yummy fresh baked cookies and beautiful flowers throughout the cottage.

The cottage is in a great location! It is cozy and just a nice place to stay. My husband and I went for walks in the morning and it is a short drive to town for breakfast, lunch or dinner. John and Peggy are the most gracious hosts.

A perfect weekend getaway!

This was our second time staying at this perfect little cottage. The place is absolutely immaculate, the bed is super comfy, and the kitchen is well-stocked. I really appreciate the little extra touches like cut flowers in the living room and bedroom and yummy freshly baked cookies. We can't wait to schedule our return trip.

A Comfortable Retreat

Peggy and John have put a lot of thought into outfitting the Grandview Cottage - and it shows! Surrounded by trees and within easy walking distance to downtown Winslow as well as the ferry to Seattle, we made good use of the great resource materials provided by our accommodating hosts.

The Cottage on Bainbridge Island

The Hosts have created a warm and welcoming retreat for guests. The cozy Cottage has all of the touches of home that we appreciate so much when traveling. It is well appointed with heated bathroom floors and towel bars, high speed internet, a well stocked kitchen, throws on the sofa and bed, and more. The king sized bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows for sleeping or propping. The hosts were available and helpful and even connected us with a realtor couple who spent half a day showing us around the island. I whole heartedly recommend staying at The Cottage the next time you’re on Bainbridge Island!

Perfect Experience on Bainbridge Island

The trip to Bainbridge Island was excellent in every way. We were contacted by the property owners (Peggy and John) prior to the trip informing us of check-in procedures, etc. They were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was perfect--roomy, comfortable, all the amenities we needed. Information about the area was provided. Highly recommended! We'll be back!
