About this property
Fox’s Lair| Fire Pit | 35 min to YNP | Secluded
Welcome to Fox’s Lair – a secluded luxury retreat in the heart of Island Park. Inspired by the wild foxes that roam the property, this brand-new cabin sits on a private wooded lot with no neighbors in sight. Designed for gatherings of up to 16 guests, it offers refined finishes, expansive living spaces, and a spacious master deck overlooking serene pines. Evenings invite cozy fires around the oversized pit, starlit BBQs, and the soothing sounds of a nearby creek. A rare blend of high-end comfort and natural seclusion, Fox’s Lair is your gateway to unforgettable mountain escapes.
Fox’s Lair offers a rare combination of luxury and wilderness, set on a large, private lot with no neighbors in sight—the last cabin on the lane, where endless forest stretches behind you. Step onto the master suite’s private deck and watch for moose or the resident fox slipping through the trees. Upstairs, a guest room with two full beds enjoys its own deck, while a loft bedroom with a full bed offers cozy charm. Downstairs, a grand bunk room with four queen beds makes gatherings effortless. With two elegant bathrooms, refined finishes, and serene outdoor living spaces, Fox’s Lair is a secluded sanctuary for those seeking beauty, privacy, and a connection to nature.
If coming up during winter months (November - April), please note that you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to navigate the area.
**During the winter you will need chains on the tires the last half mile to get to the cabin**
**WINTER WARNING**
The cabin is at the very top of the Yale Creek subdivision. It is extremely secluded, especially in the winter.
We keep the road plowed, but there will still be plenty of snow (it is a bumpy dirt road in the summer).
It is extremely recommended that you use chains and have 4wd the last mile or so through the Yale Creek subdivision. It is highly doubtful you can make it without them. There is also a good chance you cannot get up the driveway due to the incline. It is fine to park in the road and you can turn around at the turnaround spot just ahead of the cabin where the road ends. We are the only cabin up there.
If you aren`t comfortable driving in snow, it`s a fairly adventurous road in winter and may not be the best fit.
Alternatively if you have snowmobiles you can park at the Stamp Meadows parking lot and ride up quite easily on Beaver Springs road (we will send a map after booking).
There is a NO TRAILER rule in the entire subdivision all winter due to the steep minimally plowed roads. You will not be able to get a trailer up to the cabin and will end up stuck.
