Tiny Bungalow nestled in forest! 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio!
This tiny bungalow, that we like to call “The Burrow” is nestled in a small patch of forest with plenty of wild Texas persimmons, mesquite trees and song birds. Adjacent is our small family farm, and our mother’s collection of antiques and oddities. You can shop for plants, rusty treasures, or just go for a stroll. We offer a simple overnight stay experience on our family land, hopefully you find it charming just as much as we do. We have a full size mattress and a full size blow up mattress. The blow up mattress has a built in pump and is very easy to use. I leave that for the guest to use if need be since it does take up room once inflated. Also we do not have wifi!

This was just what I was looking for! Somewhere close to San Antonio (18-20 min away) but with a feel of being far away.
The spot was hidden in a small forest filled with nature.
I enjoyed the tranquil setting with the sound of songbirds during the day and relaxing by the fire at night.
Andrea was an excellent host. She responds quickly and can recommend really awesome spots in the area and especially in San Antonio.
What’s pretty awesome is she built all of this!!! Pretty amazing chic if you ask me.
Speaking of chicks, they just just got their chickens added to the farm the week I was there! Soon they’re going to have fresh eggs.
While I was there, I was able to purchase some of their organic fresh produce that they grow right on site at their family farm. The watermelon was to die for, Super sweet! I was shocked when I opened it up and it had orange flesh instead of red!
