Beautiful Lakefront House, Dock with Covered Slip in Protected Cove, Few Steps!

NOTE: During the peak summer period from the first full week of June through the third full week of August, we only rent FULL WEEKS between Sundays.

This 3-Bedroom, Lakefront cottage is on a protected cove near marker 6 in Racetrack Hollow in Big Creek on beautiful Norris Lake.

NO PETS ALLOWED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE FOR CLEANING & OR DAMAGE DUE TO A PET BEING BROUGTH TO OUR HOME. WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK RENTERS TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IF A PET IS BROUGHT.

Outside, this property has a covered floating dock. The dock includes a 10'x25' covered slip with an extended 12'x30' swim platform. The platform has a 4-step swim ladder and and 4 lounge chairs. The cove is protected with absolutely NO BOAT TRAFFIC for kid-safe and worry-free swimming.

The house is close to the water and the slope is gentle. The upper level of the house has a covered, wrap-around deck which is equipped with a gas grill, picnic table, patio furniture, rocking chair and porch swing. Below the deck, there is a covered porch with another porch swing for relaxing after a great day on the water!

Inside, the upstairs has a fully equipped kitchen (with newer granite, sink, dishwasher and refrigerator) dining area with a table and chairs (seating for 9) and family room. There are two bedrooms each with a full bathroom.

Downstairs, there is a walk-out basement with one bedroom, full bathroom with laundry, rec-room and attached garage. There are 9 Ceiling Fans throughout the house for additional comfort! Total living space is 2000Sq.Ft.

All 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and the Rec-Room have new vinyl plank flooring in 2023.

Bedding includes:
- Upstairs Bedroom 1: King Bed + Full Bed + attached full bathroom
- Upstairs Bedroom 2: Full Bed + Full Trundle + attached full bathroom
- Downstairs Bedroom 3: King Bed + across the hallway full bathroom with laundry
- Downstairs Rec-Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa + Twin Day-Bed

There are 2 flat screen TVs with Dish satellite. Satellite internet with WiFi is also available.

Please - NO pets.

Norris Lake has 800 miles of shoreline and has 34,000 acres of crystal clear water! Norris Lake and the Big Creek area are perfect for all water sports including slalom skiing, wake boarding, bare footing, knee boarding and fishing. There is a slalom course within 1 mile. Nearby marinas include Sequoyah, Whitman Hollow (this is nearest to launch your boat), Indian River and Norris Dam which rent pontoons, run-abouts and personal watercraft.

We went here for our family vacation an absolutely loved it. The cleanest most organized vacation home we have ever stayed at. Location was great an access to water was perfect. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. It was clean and cozy with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was wonderful to work with and made sure all of our needs were met. We enjoyed going out on the canoe and taking in the gorgeous sunsets and star gazing.

The property was everything we had hoped for and more! Plenty of room for two adults and four children. Kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. Walk down to dock was easy with not a lot of steep steps. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck. Property was very clean and well kept! We love Norris Lake and will definitely be looking to stay at this property again in the future.

Awesome place, so relaxing and quiet

We had rain the entire week but made ways to make it fun! There were moments of no rain and we were able to sneak out for a quick boat ride out for fun. The dock is perfect for my granddaughters to go out for some swimming and fun too, quiet and secluded. Thank you!

We had the absolute best time! The place was more than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing and it was so nice to have the dock steps away. Quiet & low tech

Beautiful home has everything, except the hot tub in the picture. Has boat dock and everything thing a big family needs-beds & kitchen supplies, & washer dryer. The owner is exceptional and communicated frequently. There is a land line. Teenagers and big techie people who need entertainment 24/7 online may be somewhat disappointed but the outdoors was wonderful for boaters or basketballers. We (adults) loved it.

Just what we needed!

As an adult, life can get very stressful with the every day worries of work and home life. I feel that vacations are so important and this one was a wonderful one. We had the best time. The home is spacious, very clean, had alot of options for outdoor activities such as corn hole boards, basketball and hoop, and fire pit. As well as a few board games and puzzles inside. The lake view is breathtaking and the ease of getting down to the dock/water was great. Some lake homes have incredibly steep hills you must conquer in order to get to the lake which can be very challenging for some. The covered porch was so relaxing for reading, visiting, even ate out there on the picnic table a few times. We will 100% stay here again. We had no issues or concerns, nothing but great memories. The only thing that was not on the listing that some should be aware of, is that the driveway is VERY steep. If you have a low vehicle, it could cause issues. Our suv's did fine on it after the intimidation wore off lol

The house was perfect for our group. The walk to the dock was not bad at all. Mike was very easy to deal with. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this house. Why they chose this property

Even though we moved to OH, we wanted to continue to enjoy boating and skiing with our children and friends, so we bought this cottage to enjoy and share with others. Our property is close to our friends and it is in a wonderful area of Norris Lake.

What makes this property unique

Our property has a covered dock. We are near the end of a cove, so there is no boat traffic in front of the dock and it is very safe for swimming, even for smaller children. The lot is not steep and the house is close to the water, so it is easy to walk between the house and dock. Our property is very peaceful and relaxing - it's a great family get-away!
