Perfect property for families! We had so much fun walking out the back door to the beach or the pool. Excellent communication! Would stay with this host again!

Overall good place to stay! One of the bath tubs was missing a plug which was a little inconvenient for putting kids in the bath, the bedroom we used had some dust bunnies in the corners and the dresser kept sticking, no major issues though. It also got hot at night, everyone we stayed with woke up sweating and checking on the thermostat so recommend bringing a fan. But it had great access to the beach was at great location for restaurants

Family beach week

We had a great time at this property. It's such a wonderful spot for beach access and walkable/short drives to other awesome Nags Head places. The pool was great too. We were very comfortable the whole time.

Great week at OBX. The house was superb for mixing beach time and pool time. The kitchen was well stocked, and access to stores was fantastic. We even had hurricane erin and got sun every day!

Great location. Oceanfront. House was clean. Outside shower was unusable due to holding water and lots of sand in it. Could have used a few extra towels. No starter kit ie: dishwasher pods, dish detergent, hand soap in bathrooms. We left those items we purchased for the next guest. Very detailed rule book for the guest to adhere to. Luckily we didn’t have to contact anyone for anything during our stay. Have vacationed the outer banks for years and stayed in many vrbo properties. This ranks just ok for the price we paid. Otherwise we had some storms early in the week and the end of the week was beautiful. Love the Outer Banks.

We always appreciate guest feedback – we try not to take it personally and use it to improve the experience for future guests but it’s frustrating when it comes after the fact and is as petty as this. Sad to say but we’re afraid that some of her feedback stems from the fact that she tried to sneak her 2 dogs into the house and we found out. Sand in the outdoor shower of an oceanfront home during a stormy week – shocking!!!! But the issue could have been resolved in 10 minutes if we had just been informed. And our “very detailed rulebook” is simply a list of important information for guests (location of electric panel, emergency water shut-off, HVAC system operation, etc.). Yes we do have a few “rules” but you have to when there’s a pool, a hot tub and you allow pets but can’t have them in the pool for obvious reasons.
