Rent this charming vacation home in West Dennis. Central AC was added in 2022. It is a spacious four bedroom, two bath home just steps to a shared private sandy, beach on Nantucket Sound. Warm and inviting, this property exudes charm throughout, featuring a country kitchen with seating for eight, front-to-back living room with fireplace and flat screen tv, enclosed ocean view front porch with dining area - the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails! Relax and unwind in the outdoor shower with changing room, grab a glass of wine, pull up a chaise lounge chair & enjoy the large deck for those after the beach cookouts & sunsets!
Two of the four bedrooms offer ocean views. Bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and set-up is as follows: #1 queen master (ocean views), #2 double bedroom (ocean views), bedroom #3 offers two 3/4 beds, bedroom #4 offers bunk beds and twin bed (perfect for the kids).

You will receive a full refund at any time of the property books for the same price. If it books for less you will receive a partial refund.

Additional amenities include a full sized washer/dryer, gas grill, Wi-Fi. This is a well maintained home located in the Mid-Cape with a fantastic sandy beach, within a short drive to all attractions the area has to offer... dining, golfing, kayaking, tennis, shopping etc

West Dennis is centrally located in the mid Cape area close to all the attractions Cape Cod has to offer.....just a short drive to Dennis Pines and Dennis Highlands, Bass River and Blue Rock golf courses. The Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking or walking is close by. Provincetown at the tip of the Cape is a great 40 minute day trip. Hyannis center with its many unique shops is a 15 minute drive. Chatham is a twenty minute drive and has great shops and restaurants The house is located a short distance from Route 6. For the children are trampolines, batting cages, arcades, miniature golf, go carts and bumper boats. Whale Watching and Deep Sea Fishing are accessible.

Great house, Great location

The house was definitely as advertised. Better, even. It's a big, very clean, house with plenty of rooms. And the private beach access(literally a few steps away) is just great. My family and i really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. I highly recommend it.

Great views and location. Warm, comfortable home

We are a family of seasoned Cape Cod renters, over 50 years of coming down during the summer! This home was very familiar to one of the older, traditional, Cape Cod homes we've stayed in. (not fancy but cozy, clean and inviting ) No one had a really comfortable mattress, but they weren't so bad we were all seeing a chiropractor this week either! 3 of the bedrooms had views of the Ocean. the breezes coming in were divine! (there ARE pillows and blankets, just no sheets, - I misunderstood and brought EVERYTHING!!) the kitchen sat all 8 of us so we could all sit together for meals and games!! It was great and we had a lot of fun sitting around that table!! The kitchen is stocked with a lobster pot and cracker/pickers too, as well as a kurig and real coffee pot, plus all the dishes and utensils you need. the house is so close to the beach that we left everything except a chair, a towel and a drink there and walked up if we needed anything else. what to bring- a PlayStation 3 or 4 , so you can get Netflix and Amazon Prime movies. HBO GO too,as there is only basic cable. We watched a lot of great movies when we got in at night, just from remembering to pack that!! This home is close to the best mini golf, Pirates Cove and The best Ice Cream on the Cape, School House and Sundae School. Joan, who was our broker, was wonderful! she kept in touch and made sure we had what we needed.This is a great family house if you have kids and even if its just for two, the master bedroom has a fireplace and overlooks the beach and Ocean beyond. The upstairs bath has a tub and no shower. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, no tub and the outside shower is perfect. we all used that as we were brought up not to overload the septic systems while on the Cape ( or Caribbean) it was big and had a changing area which was nice. We didn't catch the best weather, so having the three season porch- with Ocean view, was a life saver. The big back deck , also with Ocean views was great too and the teens in our group used it to lay out even on the cloudy days. We would absolutely recommend this home to any, fun loving, casual family or group of friends.

Great family beach house

We had a great stay at this beach house. The location by the beach could not have been better, and it was conveniently located to any amenity you would need. We had 10 in our group (4 kids under 12 and 6 adults), and between the house, deck, and yard there was plenty of space to spread out. It was so easy to go back and forth to the water, and the beach/sound were perfect for the kids. They also loved the large yard! If you do buy all your food/drinks in the beginning of the week, it may be beneficial to keep drink cans in a cooler as the fridge is a little small if you have a large group. The rooms were cool at night with the cross breeze from the water, but if it’s hot outside it can get a little warm in the house during the day. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book this house again!

Great location!

We had a very enjoyable week at the house. The location is excellent… so close to the beach which is exactly what we wanted. The house is very nice. There are two bathrooms, but only the one on the first floor has a shower. We wish there had been a shower upstairs as well, next to the bedrooms. Be sure to bring your own sheets and towels as they are not provided! We would book this house again!

Perfect

This was our 30th year spending a week on Cape Cod. Most of those years in the same 2 places. Our usual accommodations were booked this year for a large event. We found this place as a consolation. But I will tell you-it was perfect! Very clean. Spacious. Great amenities. The outdoor shower looks brand new and we all loved it! The beds were all very comfy. The view from the room I stayed in were gorgeous. Plenty of windows for a cross breeze. Nice little yard, even! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I cannot think of anything I would change.

Family vacation after family wedding

We originally booked this vacation home for a week after my niece's wedding. Of course in the day and age of COVID-19, the original wedding was postponed but a small family one happened. We were checking in a day later but the house was all ready for us. Joan, the property manager, had been in touch throughout the whole process. The house is adorable, very comfortable, and you cannot beat the location, literally just steps to the beach. It started out a bit cloudy every day, but by noon, the sun was shining and we were ready for the beach. The private beach was a perfect size. Many families from the street enjoy the beach and there is room for all. The house is charming, perfect style of Cape Cod. We had a lobster bake for 9 around the kitchen table. The kitchen in equipped with plenty of crackers and lobster picks. We had the marketplace cook the lobsters for us, You have a view of the ocean from basically every bedroom upstairs. The frontporch is screened and was a great place for late night games. The back deck was great for afternoon drinks and even a meal or 2. We are hopeful the family wedding will take place next year and can rent the house again. Thank you Joan for all your help!

Great stay on the beach

Spacious house just steps from the beach. We throughly enjoyed our family vacation. Spent many nights playing games on the front porch and drinking coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise. We loved cooking out on the deck while the kids played in the yard. Joan was helpful and very responsive. Will be back again! Tips: bring sheets and towels, we were always cool inside house due to ocean breeze (don’t need AC), tons of kitchen pots/plates/etc provided. Pros: outdoor shower, porch swing, front porch, back deck, tons of beach chairs/umbrellas/floats/toys in the shed, spacious, pictures online make it look smaller than it really is! Very easy check-in and check out. Cons: beware of the man who owns the private beach next to the beach we are allowed to use, he can be very aggressive if you step foot on his beach!

It is an ideal beach house for families

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in West Dennis last September. It is an ideal beach house and location for families. Having ocean views from the deck and several windows from the house was amazing and our favorite part was being just steps away from the beach. It made it so easy to come and go and for the little ones to take naps. The outdoor shower and deck were perfect for post beach. We also walked just a couple of minutes to West Dennis beach to use the swings and snackbar and to the Lighthouse Inn for lunch on the ocean. The house is decorated very quaint and homey and it's in an easy location close to many other restaurants in Dennisport. We would highly recommend this location and would love to come back here next summer!

The house is very dated, no counter space in kitchen, and old dirty furniture in the living room. Location is good, but there is no surf at all and the beach is extremely small.

Perfect house in the perfect spot!

We absolutely loved our week in this home so close to the water. The house was extremely homely and comfortable and it didn't take long to settle right in. If you want to have your morning coffee, and evening drinks by the water, this is your place. You can see and smell the fresh ocean from any place in the home, but especially the front porch, or walk down to the beach and enjoy it while your feet are in the sand. This is a must rent home for any vacation..just save the holidays for us :). I would have given this rental 5 stars instead of 4 stars if a couple of things were different. A larger grill (home sleeps 6-8) and its hard to grill for 6-8 on a really small grill. Also, beware of the end house on the water, the Private Beach is pretty much all his property, and he'll have no problem reminding you of it, over and over, and tell you to get off of "his beach". We adjusted and nudged ourselves into a corner of the beach (still way better than a crowded public beach).

Quintessential Cape House

I had a wonderful time here at the house for two weeks this summer with my kids. The house is fantastic. Casual and comfortable, but in very nice condition with all the amenities we needed, and plenty of room to hang out in the porch, living room, kitchen and porch. Joan the broker was fantastic. The house didn't have a blender so she dropped one off the next day. About a one minute stroll to the beach, and within short walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Plus an ice cream truck comes by each day around noon. No AC, but the house is elevated and opening windows gets you a nice breeze. I will be back.
