This beautiful house features 2 BR, 1 BA
A kitchen and a spacious living room. It’s fully equipped with new appliances, furniture , split units A/C, a 55” TV, etc. You will have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the beauty of nature. It's located in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything: 0.5 miles to Nokomis beach , 0.5 mile to Publix , restaurants , post office, Aldi...

The house has another unit in garage , which is not included in this listing.

This unit is on the first floor, no steps . It features a spacious kitchen with everything you need for preparing fresh meals, a spacious dining room with a dining table , 3 beds (1 king ,1 queen beds, and 1 sofa bed with queen mattress) providing enough space for big family .
Guest access
The garage is NOT included in this listing so guests WON'T have access to the garage. We have one reserved parking spots in front of the house for this unit. There are two spots in total, the other one are reserved for the other unit.

Please do not park in front of our neighbor’s house, otherwise, your cars will be towed.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

1.【NO PARTY OR EVENT】
We will call VRBO to force evacuating the party groups based on VRBO policy. $300 fines will be charged for violating the rule.

2.【QUIET HOURS 10PM-8AM】
We try really hard to be clear about our expectations of our guests as well as what you can expect from our homes, and we believe most of our guests understand that and are awesome! But we did have enough trouble incidents that we have felt the need to outline in detail the guidelines we expect guests to follow, first and foremost being the quiet hours between 10pm and 8am which is really for the sake of our neighbors sanity. Really our goal is to provide the most a comfortable and clean well kept rental home.

3.【NO SMOKING】
If any signs of smoking are detected, the guests agree to pay a $300 violation fee.


4.【Self Catering】
This is a self catering home. We will provide an initial starter supply such as toilet paper, etc. Extra supplies will need to be purchased from the store at your cost.

5.【Early check-in】
We’ll be happy to accommodate early check-in. Availability is based on whether there are guests checking out on the same day as your arrival, so we can ONLY approve on a case by case basis once confirming with our cleaners that the home will be ready. Please check with us 1 day prior to your check-in date.

6. 【Lost & Found】
Please take all of your personal belongings before you check out. If you forget something at the house and would like us to ship it back to you, we will charge $100 handling fee + the shipping fee (receipt will be provided).

Quick visit to Sunshine State

We love the Nokomis/Laurel/Venice Florida area. So when we decided on a last minute trip we found this property close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Very clean. The only thing was the Master bed is a little hard and unkown to us when we booked, the garage is also a rental property. Not really a problem just would have liked to have known there was someone on the other side of the wall. and we weren't just hearing noises for nothing. Other than that, we had a great stay at this VRBO. Thank you!!

It was very uncomfortable and out dated

We stayed at this property for 2mths it was very outdated it is not a good place for long term renters. Kitchen is lacking basic utensils, serving dishes, Tupperware and dishes. Toaster was not working sprayer in sink not working ice machine not working electric outlets in bathroom not working. Very out dated TV. There was nothing to tell you when trash is to be out or what to do when it’s to to depart the home. You can hear the attached neighbors as if they are in your home. No back porch light washer and dryer area is very unsafe. Water marks on the ceiling in master bedroom and bathroom from leak, and I was told not to put the AC no lower than 72. I would definitely not stay in this home again.

Construction nightmare

Owner texted me the night before check in that he had to make repairs on the roof and would refund all of money if we wanted to back out of the rental. The owner assured me that if we stayed, they would be done in a couple of days. The construction never stopped the entire time we were there! The roofers broke a big hole in the ceiling above my bed and there was toxic insulation that fell all over my bed. I had to call the owner and he said he would clean it up and repair the hole in the ceiling and all they did was duck tape it back together and never fixed it! The next day I woke up with a rash on my arm from the insulation fibers on my bed that they never cleaned up properly. We often could not park in our driveway and couldn't get out of our front door because of the roofers tools and air compressors. There were pieces of metal hanging down that were in my face as I tried to get out of the front door, nails on the driveway, wood pieces....we couldn't even go out of the back door because of ladders in our way. We also could not sit outside with our tables and chairs because of all the construction going on! Not a good experience at all.....

Great family spring break!

Great house for our family to stay in! Victoria was always available for questions. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes, but we went to the beach with our young kids at around 9am and there was plenty of parking. We would definitely consider staying again.

We were there from May 16 - May 26 2019! The apartment was clean! We had our towels from home because I always bring my own - but there are plenty of towels to use. They have some beach chairs! Which was a plus! If you consider to walk to the beavh- it is a 10 minute walk! Great place. Thank you Victoria & Tony

This place was perfect for our one week vacation and was within reasonable distance from everything we wanted to do. The only issues I had was, at first, the AC would not go below 78 but after speaking to the owner she got the AC guy out day of! The California King in the Master is very hard .. not the most comfortable to sleep on but we got over it. There is a studio apartment that’s in the garage, we only heard the tenant a few times so it didn’t bother us much, and the washer and dryer and shared with said tenant and other in another house. The shower here is amazing, all rooms are a great size. The TV’s were a bit small and outdated but we weren’t at the house enough to care. Beach Chairs, Umbrella, Towels are all provided. Overall is was a great stay!!

Large and Spacious, Very Close to Nokomis Beach, Comfortable

We stayed here for about two and a half months while relocating to Florida. The house is very spacious, with large bedrooms and plenty of closet space. It was very clean upon our arrival (and our departure...as we tried to leave it as we found it!) Everything is comfortable, including the furniture and the beds. We were here during Florida's hottest months, and the a/c struggled at times to keep the house below 78 degrees...but it always cooled down more at night and we were never too hot. The neighborhood consists of a lot of vacation properties, including another one just behind the house. There is also a studio apartment in the garage. We made friends with the neighbors and everything was fine. No one was noisy or the partying type, so we had no issues with excess noise or anything like that. The kitchen appliances worked well. We did feel like the kitchen was lacking a few things for long-term stays like ours, but would likely be fine for shorter, vacation-style stays. Some of the pans are really old and worn out and there were no storage containers to put leftovers in the fridge. We had a hard time figuring out the light switches...it seems like many of them don't really do anything, but once we got used to it, no big deal. A couple of the fans only work on low speed, so be careful about that! We found out the hard way when we first arrived as the fan in the living room only works on low; on higher speeds it starts moving around and banging loudly. One of the bedroom fans (the room with the smaller bed) does the same thing. Tony and Viktoria are very responsive and answered all of our questions. We were actually staying here when Hurricane Irma hit, so we had a bit more adventure than we planned, but this neighborhood came back online very quickly. We would stay here again and it's a perfectly fine place...just nothing really extraordinary. They allowed pets, which was a necessary thing for us too, and can be difficult to find. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and found this property to be comfortable and homey.
