The house had a great layout: bedrooms on the lower floors and an expansive living room, dining area, and kitchen on the top with bucolic views. The pool was in a sunny spot, at the right temperature and a joy to swim in. There was a terrific outdoor eating area by the pool that we took full advantage of. We loved that the three main bedrooms had comfortable king-size mattresses. The towels provided for the bathrooms and pool were plentiful and of very good quality. Last, you couldn’t ask for an easier check-out. The negatives were few, slightly annoying, but all easily fixable. In particular, the kitchen needs to be better appointed with sufficient flatware and plates for a house this size, higher-end small counter appliances, and quality cookware. I read in other reviews about the stairs in the house: we really didn’t mind them however, if you have small children, do think to bring a pressure gate for the top flight exiting the main room. Chris, the property manager, was responsive and extremely pleasant; because the house was so easy to live in, we didn’t need to reach out to him much. All in all, our family had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in this Sag Harbor house.
