2 bedroom Knotty Pine Cabin on Ambrose Lake, sleeps 8. Ride your SXS or quad from our large parking lot thru the OGEMAW HILLS to St Helen, Luzerne & beyond ! 2 queen beds and 2 queen fold out couch beds. Good fishing ! Surrounded by over 100,000 + acres of State and Federal land for Deer, Turkey and Grouse hunting. 5 minutes from Clear Lake, 12 miles North of Downtown West Branch. Sleeps 8, with full kitchen, refrigerator, stove , microwave, gas BBQ, coffee pot, dinnerware, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee, cream, sugar, seasonings, crock pots , pots, pans, wine glasses, etc etc. Good size ORV FRIENDLY parking area, great ATV/ORV snowmobile trail system, right out the back door ! Ogemaw Hills and Ambrose Lake trail systems are 1.5 miles down the road. Ride to St Helens, (ORV rentals available) & to Luzurne, Mio, Roscommon and beyond ! Ride out to the Rose City overlook, and to Kyles Peak for a beautiful view !(both are on YouTube and Google maps). Kayak, canoe, paddle board & fish Ambrose Lake & Horseshoe Lakes for Largemouth Bass, Pike & Blue gills (both lakes have boat ramps and allow motors). Clear Lake is a 171 acre all sports lake 5 minutes up the road, offering Pontoon & kayak rentals and boat launch. Stop in @ the family friendly Clear Lake Bar for excellent food & service, and the Clear Lake party store is right next store, enjoy some hand dipped ice cream ! Hiking, Biking and cross country skiing is 10 minutes down the road @ Ogemaw Hills pathway. Golf the West Branch Country Club and the Dream and the Night mare Golf courses. Down town West Branch is 12 miles, with plenty of resteraunts, bars, wine tasting, party store, shopping, Meijers, Walmart, Aldis, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Autozone, Dollar Tree, bowling, car wash. Over 100,000 acres of state land to hunt Deer, Turkey, Grouse. Frank ALLEY ORV’S and Snowmobiles parking lot is close to the cottage. Ride and enjoy the OGEMAW HillS, and Ambrose Lake trails. Everything was great bedrooms and beds comfortable, shower works great could use cleaning supplies and vacuum to help keep the place clean while visiting. Love the outdoor furniture and fire pit with view!

Weekend get away

The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Its location was perfect for us to go float on the Au Sable for the day. It was quiet and the lake was beautiful.

We loved our stay at this cottage. Great access to a lot of atv trails, which was our activity while staying. The cottage was quaint, vintage, clean, and cozy. We loved the woodstove and fire place for when we came back from chilly rides. Tim was an excellent host and friendly. He went above and beyond helping to solve a small issue. Due to a breakdown we were not able to ride much of what we wanted so plan to come to the area again and will definately stay here!

Would give a Million stars if I could!

This place was amazing, it was clean and quiet and the hosts tim and rita were so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. The property was beautiful, beds were super comfy and the grill was an amazing touch. Looking to fish? We caught several Large bass and a 30 inch Pike, the fishing was awesome :) the cabin included so much extra stuff like seasoning and shampoo and shower stuff. we can not wait to come back!!!

Cottage was super cozy. Very accommodating. The neighbors were extremely friendly. Even though we ended up with a pretty chilly memorial weekend, it was super nice with bonfire and warm cottage. Ample parking and roads straight to trails and clear lake party store/bar/gas station to just jump in machine and take a quick ride to get last minute essentials. Will definitely love to book again!! And bonus had a land line that was helpful if we lost reception.
