About this property

L'Arc En Ciel is a beautiful detached Provencal villa within the stunning medieval village of Fayence yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. It has mature gardens, a large swimming pool and sun terrace with magnificent views towards the Esterel Mountains.There is an outdoor eating area to the side of the property with a summer kitchen complete with built in barbecue and a wood fired pizza oven.The house is set back from the road in a complex of three Provencal style properties. There is parking for three or four cars. Spacious living accommodation comprises a fully equipped large kitchen with seating for eight. Two sitting rooms, a small study, five bedrooms made of three double bedrooms, one twin bedded room and one single bedroom. There are three bath/shower rooms. Air conditioning in the kitchen, the sitting rooms and two of the double bedrooms. There is wireless internet.

Our stay at L’Arc en Ciel

There was everything there for a family of 8. The position was good - the pool was lovely. There were games and plenty of books. My family know Fayence and all the restaurants very well and we would all definitely go again.

Lovely house and town

Second time in this house - and it is still lovely. And the pool is really nice. We very much enjoy the small town and it’s marked and restaurants. Suggestion - mosquito nets in the bedrooms and a couple of new deckchairs by the pool.

Not the expected paradise

Dear Paul and Lycia, this is your house and I am sure you love it and you have lovely memories with your family there, so it is obviously difficult to receive criticism from strangers. That is why I will not list here all the points of disatisfaction we had during our stay, (Jill knows). The only advise I can give you is to keep the house maintained, particularly the ground floor (big problems of humidity), to do a deep cleaning and to tidy all the mess you left in. Do not leave your house fall into ruin. Thanks to the lady in charge of the cleaning (don't know her name) as she really did her best to help us with the few means she is given. You could give her more means as she is on spot, she is efficient and she could really help you to keep the house maintained. And thanks to Jill who also did her best to help remotely. Information for the futur tenants: there are really a lot of mosquitos in the region!

Dejligt hus i gåafstand fra indkøb og restauranter

Et rigtig flot og charmerende hus med en virkelig god beliggenhed. Den lille by Fayence er i gåafstand og her er bager, supermarked, restauranter og et lille marked både tirsdag og torsdag (der er vist også marked lørdag). Dejlig pool og gode terrasser.

Beautiful home

Just returned from an excellent 2 week stay in this beautiful part of France. The house was very comfortable and lots of space for 2 families to share, and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. House was well maintained, and such lovely gardens. Fayence is a lovely little village and we enjoyed the local markets, music festival and restaurants. Location is slightly remote, and the hill was a bit too steep for us (given the extremely hot weather) but manageable in the evenings. Information provided by the owners was very well receive , and great recommendations for the local area
