Oceanfront Villa w/Private Beach, Dock, Heated Pool & Sunset Views in Sac Bajo

Located on the Sac Bajo Peninsula on Isla Mujeres, you will enjoy a private lovely vacation in a safe and friendly environment.

The Villa at Quinta Ixchel is set up to accommodate adult individual travelers or couples looking for a romantic get away. You'll find everything you need in this newly remodeled and delightfully decorated villa. There is a small kitchen with a 2-burner stove; microwave, coffeepot, a king-size bed, gas BBQ grill, smart TV, heated salt-water pool, WiFi Internet - Your home away from home!

The main house of Quinta Ixchel is located on the same property next to the Villa. When on the island, my father stays at the main house and you will find him to be helpful for advice about the island. At the back of the property is one other very small house where the caretaker, Poli and his wife, Gladys, live. They are wonderful people who you would only see when they are cleaning the pool, raking the beach or watering the plants. Gladys is also an incredible cook. If you would like to have her cook food for you, she would love to do so for an extra fee. They take great pride and are very protective of our property - we are very lucky to have them. Thanks to them and the privacy of the house,  the property is very secure. There are also surveillance cameras on the property for the safety of everyone.

We also have a new dock in the lagoon with a beautiful palapa to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails!

It is located in the Sac Bajo neighborhood of the island, close to Villa Rolandis and Dolphin Discovery. It is very easy to catch a taxi in front of the house for a short ride to town.

The Villa is equipped with two sets of sliding glass doors that open completely to the outside on both sides to expand your living experience. Under the private palapa, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the pool and turquoise ocean, private beach, kayaks, and Cancun skyline. The villa is the perfect place for morning walks on the beach and faces west for beautiful sunsets.

We also have a generator that fully powers the entire property, including ACs.

If you love the ocean, this is an excellent chance to experience it. The views from the patios are remarkable and just a few steps away, your private beach and lounge chairs awaits you.

For safety and security, the Villa and pool are exclusively for our guests.

Known as a quiet fishing village full of Mexican charm, Isla Mujeres will take you away from the ordinary and fascinate you with its renowned white sandy beaches, flavorful cuisine and multitude of cultural events that will delight your senses.

This place was absolutely amazing! Having our own private heated pool and private beach truly doesn’t get better than this. It felt like a luxury resort experience but with complete privacy and comfort.The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. Poli, the caretaker, keeps both the grounds and the beach immaculate and is always available if you need anything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would absolutely recommend this rental and we will definitely be back in the future!

This side of the island is chill and that is exactly what we were hoping for our getaway.The room itself is modern, clean and well designed. The water pressure is divine. Having a private pool and beach was more than we expected.The site manager was super helpful. His partner made us dinner two of the nights. So nice to see the sun set on our private patio overlooking the ocean as we ate fresh fish prepared by Gladys.This place is truly beautiful. We were able to walk down the beach to get dinner when we wanted to go out. There were a few places where we had to walk in the water but it was easy.Oh I almost forgot, a highlight of the trip was using the kayaks to paddle north to an excellent snorkeling spot.This vacation spot is a gem. Communication was detailed and everything about the trip was easy and loved.

We have been to Isla Mujeres three times and this by far is the best property we have stayed on. Not only is the villa exactly as described by the caretakers, Poli and Gladys are kind, friendly and helpful. Sac Bajo is quiet and extremely safe. The property has a well cared for beach and pool that kept us relaxed and rested during our stay. We will be back!

Our trip to the Villa at Quinta Ixchel was everything we hoped for. Having Katy as an English speaking host/resource made a HUGE difference and was such a bonus to this entire experience. FANTASTIC PROPERTY! This place is absolutely as good as promised. The sunrises on the private beach are the exact same view you get from Playa Norte. The property is immaculately kept by an onsite local that is extremely helpful with anything and everything. This property is really amazing and a really great value. The property is a short golfcart ride from everything and its located on the westside of the island in a very nice neighborhood so we always felt safe. If you want a private getaway in Mexico this is your place!

There is a reason why this is rated 10/10! Beautiful property, easy check-in, accommodating host, very private stay. The pool is great, the beach is beautiful, the guest house was clean, smart tv, wi-fi available. We were glad we reserved a golf cart through the host, and it was there upon our arrival. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The only thing we regret is not booking a longer stay.

We love this end of the island. The property is close to some of the best beach clubs and restaurants, but far enough away from the chaos of the north end. The room is perfect for a couple looking for a secluded, romantic get away. We will definitely return.
