Hidden Gem for West Point Families

Wish we would’ve found this place sooner!We discovered this gem just in time for my brother’s graduation from West Point, and it was exactly what we needed. The location is peaceful and off the beaten path, which made for a relaxing stay. It's about a 25-minute drive to the Plain at West Point—close enough to be convenient, but far enough to feel like a retreat. The home is cozy, quaint, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. While there wasn’t shampoo or soap initially, the host was quick to help and made sure we were taken care of. If we're ever back in the area, we’d absolutely stay here again!

The area feels like a secluded retreat, yet it’s just a short drive to charming Hudson Valley towns, local farms, and world-class attractions like Storm King Art Center, West Point, and Bear Mountain. It’s the best of both worlds—peaceful enough to relax and recharge, but close enough to explore and enjoy the vibrant culture and beauty of the region.

Situated on 9.5 acres of peaceful, private land, it feels like a secluded escape, yet it’s just an hour from Manhattan and minutes from some of the Hudson Valley’s top attractions like West Point, Storm King Art Center, and Bear Mountain.

The house itself is fully renovated, featuring a cozy fireplace, AC, heat, a jacuzzi, and a kitchen with brand-new appliances. The serene views of the surrounding forest and green space from every room create a calming atmosphere you won’t find just anywhere. Add to that the easy access to charming towns, local farms, and cultural destinations, and it’s the perfect blend of retreat and adventure.
