The owners of this cabin have poured so much love with attention to detail into this retreat so that all its guests feel welcome, inviting and cozy at every turn. If you are looking for a weekend retreat for relaxing, walking, reading a book or visiting with a family member or friend, this is a perfect little escape that will wrap you in comfort and contentment the moment you arrive you simply will not want to leave. Radiant floor heaters, an electric fireplace that is easy to operate, oversized furniture and the unexpected 'light show' that the shower provides (turns color as the water reaches comfortable temperature), is just a treat to experience. The Painted Pony was set up with 'you' in mind, so come give it a ride.

When you pull up, you will come upon a slate path leading to a patio under the covered porch. A propane grill is offered for delicious cooking burgers or steaks any time of year to be enjoyed outside on the picnic table. Through the front door, a quaint kitchen area offers a cozy place to cook with a full-sized stove, refrigerator, microwave, double sink, and coffee bar. A glass kitchen table is providing a comfortable eating place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. High ceilings, plenty of windows keep this space bright and open in the living room with comfy oversized furniture, electric fireplace mount and flat screen TV with ROKU perfect for movie nights or conversations over coffee.

Two bedrooms one with a queen bed and another with a full of custom storage units and personal touches of decor throughout A full sized bathroom with a double shower, one side has a fun LED light show and the other side hosts a rain shower head. No need to worry about laundry piling up, a stackable washer and dryer are tucked in the closet space off the living room. Small but not lacking in charm.

There are no vehicle restrictions on vehicle types for spring/summer/fall for cabin access. Winter guests please see cautionary notes below:

Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is ice/snow on the ground and a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.
