This classic loft in Pioneer Square is located in the heart of downtown and is perfect for anyone who loves the industrial look.
The exposed brick walls & original early 1900’s hardwood floors create a unique, urban atmosphere, with warm and inviting decor. The unit features a large living space and overlooks 1st Avenue.
The king bed is on the main floor within the unit, and the queen bed is located in the open loft.
This special place is in close proximity to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are smack dab in between the infamous Pike Place Market and Lumen Field.
**Please be aware this unit is above a nightclub and often has events with loud music late into the night.

Nice apartment
The apartment was large but had no air conditioning and no screens on the windows to open, so was stuffy. The location was easy to get to for sport event nearby and access to public transportation, but was not safe to walk at night. Neighborhood was not the safest area. The building was locked and the panel was on the outside by the door and a code needed to enter the unit also.
Unsafe and Extremely Noisy – Had to Leave First Night
This is my first ever negative review of a VRBO host and I am on the platform for more than 10 years. We booked this apartment knowing it was above a bar, but the reality was far worse than disclosed. The music caused the apartment to shake and continued late into the night at volumes that made sleep impossible. Even more concerning, a large and aggressive group gathered outside and in the stairwell, attempting to access the building. We felt unsafe and had to call the police before leaving the property in the middle of the night to find alternative lodging for our family. Two of the windows also didn’t close, worsening both the noise and safety issues. We reported the situation to the host and did not receive a resolution. This rental was not suitable for families or anyone seeking a safe, restful environment. I recommend others be aware of the true conditions before booking.
My friends and I really enjoyed this space. It was very clean, in a great neighborhood and had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again!
This is a lovely property for anyone who wants to stay close to the pier and walk/train/water taxi during their visit. Our family loved the loft, and especially the vintage record player and classic albums that is onsite.
I encourage anyone visiting the property to stop by The Pastry Project which is only a few blocks away.
Came to explore Seattle and enjoy a game at Lumen Field. We loved our stay — accurately listed and wonderfully located to everything. The host was very friendly and responsive. Definitely coming back to this listing. Thanks again!
We loved this property and the actual unit we stayed in. It was very well appointed/decorated and perfect for 2 people. The building itself is very old and could use new flooring as the thin carpet was worn and stained. I was leery until we reached our unit. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we felt safe at all times. We loved being able to walk everywhere and didn't need to rent a car.

great location but felt unsafe
Biggest concern with our stay was that on the first day, two men entered the locked apartment by using the code to get in and shined a flashlight at us. We didn't know what was going on but obviously it was scary, and they left after realizing we were there. I told the host and he assured me it wouldn't happen again, but we didn't feel very secure considering theres no other lock on the door besides the code-lock. We didn't feel very comfortable after that but had nowhere else to stay. The place was very clean, but there is no AC, and we were very hot at night. There are some fans available, but that didn't do much to help. I wish it was more clear on the listing that there was no AC, maybe I just missed it. I knew there was no CO alarm so I brought my own. The location is in the middle of everything being on 1st Ave. Obviously there was loud music at night but we knew that going into it so that was fine. However during the day there was a lot of loud noises from construction going on in the apartment right next door, and we weren't able to rest with that noise because it sounded like drilling into the shared wall. Overall we had a good time because of the location, but the host did little to make up for the fact that 2 men entered our apartment and could have had us in a very unsafe situation. We paid a lot to be there so I felt it was not worth feeling uncomfortable the whole time. The host never replied to my request for a partial refund due to the safety concern.
If you love music and cool bars/clubs then this is the place to be!
This place is located in the Pioneer Square district with lots of bars, clubs and restaurants. It's walking distance to Pike Place Market, sports stadiums, the Great Wheel Pier 57, the Seattle Aquarium, etc. The kitchen has good amenities, the bed sheets and pillows and towels are soft and plentiful. One window opens and you can prop a fan to pull in cool air. The neighbors are noisy and the street sounds of 1st Street are city noises. It is a downtown experience. We enjoy music a lot so we didn't mind the club below us on a Friday night. I took melatonin and crashed out asleep at midnight. The check in codes etc were easy to use. The Uber/Lyft rides and street parking app were also easy to use. We went to Enterprise rent a car on 3rd street to get a rental for one day only. The host was very quick to respond to any messages.

Noise Levels Make It Unlivable at Night
The room itself is well set up and quite nice on the inside, and the proximity to downtown Seattle was great, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The listing did mention a nightclub downstairs and noted that noise could be heard from the room. However, the amount of noise and the unlivable nature of the space during normal sleeping hours were severely understated.
The noise from the nightclub is so intense that it vibrates the entire room, making it feel as if you are sleeping directly on top of a subwoofer. Despite using earplugs, it was impossible to get any sleep, which is the primary purpose of a Vrbo.
The owners need to reconsider listing this room on Fridays and Saturdays when the nightclub is open or significantly discount the room and be explicit about the noise levels from 10 PM to 2 AM. If you're looking for a place to sleep peacefully, this isn't it.

Above a LOUD night club
It’s in the small print, but it should be part of the main description. Loud music starts around 10 pm and goes well into the early hours. Provided ear plugs are little help. Street noise is loud too. Too bad, it’s acute place.
This rental was so cozy! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The location was within walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars & the Market. We would definitely stay here again even though it’s above a nightclub. Thankfully it was closed Sunday & Monday of our stay.
We had a really great 1-week stay at this property. It was immaculately clean and tidy, and I really appreciated all of the extra little touches: vintage record player, acoustic guitar, fully stocked spice cabinet in the kitchen, space heater for extra coziness, tower fan for an extra breeze, and plenty of bathroom towels. There were also a couple of nit picky things: drain in tub was broken/does not plug (so you can only take a shower), vent/fan above stove does not work, conditioner bottle was filled with watered-down shampoo, and there was an unfortunate/minor ceiling leak the day that we left - it's an old building, these things happen! The host was kind enough to give us an extra hour to check out, since maintenance was in/out of the unit, along with a little refund for breakfast. We super appreciated it.
The only actual negative was the location accuracy of the listing. This property is a lot further south than pictured. The "What's nearby?" info on VRBO is not at all correct. It lists the convention center as a 5-min walk, when it's actually a 27-minute (largely uphill) walk. The proximity to the convention center was important to me, as I was there on business for half of my stay, so that was a bit of a let down. I communicated this to the host before our stay, who was very apologetic, but the listing still hasn't been updated to reflect it's accurate location. Just something to be aware of.
All-in-all, we really loved this loft and vibe of the neighborhood.
Comfortable place. When I walked in, I didn’t want to leave. Half mile from Pike Place Market, right above the birthplace of grunge. Great coffees & food close by. Walk either way & see great views & diversity.
A very cute studio, the building itself is very old and a little rough around the edges but we loved the apartment. It had everything we needed, and is in a great place if you want to walk around the heart of seattle.
