Not close to river at all. I swear I saw pool on listing that was not there. Listing was bed and breakfast...I looked into it amd knew was not bed and breakfast anymore but very misleading as listed. But everything else was great!!

Howard is a nice distance from Salida, price was great and the drive is nice into the town.

Good place to stay if you only need a good,comfortable place to sleep & take a shower. No table or chairs in the room to relax in or eat, eventhough there is a microwave. Thank you, Nancy & Joe

While this was pet friendly, the listing was inaccurate for just about everything else. When I arrived I thought I was at the wrong place at first. The room had spiders, spider webs, and other bugs. It seemed as if no one had stayed there for months. The other rooms looked to be under renovation and did look in better shape than the room I was given.

No coffee pot. Three towels for four of us. Not the cleanest, but ok. Funky smell.

Good for fishermen and construction workers. Needs upgrading. We did not have sufficient towels, had to run extension cord from bathroom to beds for CPAP machines, insufficient hot water. The price was great.
