About this property

Stunning House in the heart of Matakana Wine Country

Stunning beachfront property in the heart of Matakana wine country. Kick back and relax or head out on the water for a spot of fishing, this is the ultimate retreat. Perfect for kids, the decks are gated and the beach is calm and safe. My kids adore looking for crabs and splashing around in the shallow sea. Wait for the tide to come in and go sailing, or take a break at any of the magnificent restaurants in the area. We are 7 minutes from Matakana village. Then head home and relax with a wine in the hot tub.

A large 5 bedroom family home on the hill, take a short walk down to the beach, where we have riparian rights. We are on 11 acres of native bush so feel free to explore!

We have two goats, Barney and Banana that like to say hi when you arrive! Our friends Jonno and Georgia live in a cottage on the property with their 2 kids and will be available to check you in, and help you.

Magnificent home in a magical spot

We felt very lucky to stay in such a charming and well-equipped house in a beautiful location. The view is stunning enjoyed from the beautiful kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and balcony. Thank you Rosie and I hope we get to return one day.

An incredible place to stay and enjoy a long weekend with amazing views, easy water access and even a few snapper near by. Very helpful and communicative and everything was so easy. Definitely coming back in summer.
