This home on Houghton Lake is AMAZING! Our entire family (18 people) had THE best time. It's very spacious, lots of sitting areas inside and outside, games and specular views! I HIGHLY recommend this home to make memories that will last a lifetime! We will be back!

This property is incredible! The house itself is massive! Stunning views, with so much to do in the house itself. The hot tub, indoor heated pool and the game room made it so our group didn’t even have to leave the house as it rained a bit during our trip. The lake access right off the back of the house is amazing as well. We stayed in late September/early October and I’d love to come back in the summer to take a boat out and enjoy the lake. Local restaurants were delicious and the host provided a great welcome guide to help get us situated and familiar with everything the house and area had to offer. Absolutely a must if you’re thinking about staying here.

AMAZING GOLF GET AWAY

We stayed here for our annual golf getaway playing local courses. Absolutely phenomenal views of the lake during sunset and the house activities did not disappoint. Would love to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful roomy property

Quick long family weekend get away. This place is very nice inside and out even in the snow! We had so much fun with all of the amenities. Highly recommend this one!

The best Vrbo we’ve stayed at

This was a fantastic, and well kept property. Very spacious for all 20 of us that stayed. Check in was easy, and the host kept great communication. There was plenty of activities to do at the house, and everyone stayed busy with the pool, hot tub, and many games that were provided.

The property was absolutely incredible! Every room offered breathtaking views, and the sunsets were truly unforgettable. It was the perfect spot for a fun girls’ weekend! Spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. You can tell the owners take great care of the home. There was plenty to do in the area, and the hosts were kind, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Overall, the property was great. The two main bedrooms on the upper floor unfortunately had nowhere to unpack your clothing for the week. No closets, no dressers. There are a few little things that need to be repaired. The dishwasher doesn’t look as if it was completely installed and is result makes it very difficult to close the door. The pool cover stopped working after four days. Result was the pool became quite cold for the last couple of days. All the toys and gadgets were fun for both the kids and the adults. The kitchen and seating on the main floor were perfect for our large group. when you are sleeping 16 or 17 people half of which are kids 12 and under only three bathrooms makes things a little tight sometimes. But again we had a great time Golf was convenient. Boat rental was good. Not the most exciting little town for eating, but had everything we needed when shopping.

Outstanding Lakefront Property!

This Lakefront house was amazing! Everything you could ask for …. Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Game Room, Golf Simulator, Fire Pit, Outdoor Games, Flat Screen Smart TV’s in every room, Weber Grill, Huge Kitchen, two very large Living Rooms, Three Levels of Decks, and so much more all on a Lake! Sunsets were beautiful. This was a perfect property and location for our family gathering. Host/Property Manager was EXCELLENT!! Quick to respond and provided answers to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay overall! The property itself is beautiful, with gorgeous lake views and plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax. The pool was also a big highlight — really nice and a lot of fun for everyone. Hot tub was also nice with a beautiful pool. A couple things to note for future guests. The listing mentions 6 bedrooms, but the 6th “bedroom” is actually the game room with a twin trundle. It’s fine for kids, but not the most ideal setup for an adult, so just something to be aware of when planning.We also had an issue with the heat one night — it dropped to 62 degrees in the house, which made things pretty uncomfortable (and too cold to enjoy the pool). That said, the host was responsive and sent someone out the same day after we reached out.Overall, we had a really nice time and enjoyed the property — just a few things to keep in mind when booking! We would love to return.

Lake house 2025

I think there should have been more private bedrooms. The pool table room was considered a bedroom. The swimming pool lights were not working but I contacted the owner and had quick response and was fixed in timely manner.
