The Pros:Check-in and communication with the host was very easy and fast. She was always prompt to reply to questions and, because I was staying for such a long time, even made sure I got an interim cleaning even though I had failed to follow-up with her myself. The location is indeed very convenient to downtown. You can walk pretty much anywhere you want to go, including to the Trader Joe's and the CVS, which are less than a mile away. The split AC unit in the kitchen/living space is quiet and powerful. The Cons:The free WiFi is actually just the guest WiFi network of the business next door. It boots you off every 60 minutes. This is no big deal if you're using a laptop or tablet that simply asks you to log back in. However, if you're on a phone that silently switches over to cell service whenever the WiFi logs you out, you will end up inadvertently chewing through a significant amount of data. My phone bill was 4x the normal amount because of this. The floor is crazy uneven. (I say this as someone who spent a decade in old NYC apartments, so I know from uneven.) The first night I kept waking up because I thought I was rolling off the bed. After two nights my back pain was so bad (granted, I have chronic back issues) that I shimmed the bed, using an actual 2x4 on the left side to make it level. As another reviewer mentioned, it is quite loud due to the street noise.
