Very clean and lovely home. Everything you would need, but remember to bring charcoal if you want to grill. There is plenty of room to park a truck and boat trailer. There is a nice boat launch at Sunset Park. The deck was a wonderful getaway in the afternoon.

Weekend Relax

We decided to take a quick weekend getaway and found this gem only a couple of hours north of Chicago. We sought quiet, clean, relax and found them all; plus we were able to do so without having to board our dogs. All in all, it was exactly what we needed.Thank you for hosting us!!

Property is in a convenient and beautiful area with a partial view of the lake on the back deck. Very well kept, huge kitchen and family/living room, large TV with all apps and easy to use. Really enjoyed sitting on the back deck for morning coffee, but, the sliding glass door from the house was extremely hard to use, so had to walk around from the side door. Also, no room in any of the kitchen cabinets to store our snacks and other food things, which the owner said he would address. Beds were comfortable. No lamps at all in the whole house, so nothing but overhead lights in all rooms, which was a little odd, but minor. Otherwise, a very comfortable and roomy stay which we would definitely book again...
