The location was excellent — very short walk to the lake and lakefront restaurants, which was a huge plus during busy season since we could skip hunting for parking entirely. Despite being on a busy alley next to an ice cream shop with consistently long lines, it was quiet inside. Just know the views are city streets on one side and the alley/dumpsters on the other, so don’t expect scenery. The unit itself was nicely decorated, comfortable, and well appointed — the owner clearly thought of every possible need.Parking spaces are clearly marked as belonging to each unit, though with the lot right next to popular spots, it’s easy to see how the public might be tempted to park there. On check-in, we found stains from previous guests and the front door lock wasn’t working properly. We took photos and reported both right away, and the property manager responded quickly and apologized — appreciated that.Communication overall was responsive without being intrusive. We look forward to coming back.
