The Exclusive PRINCE MANSION with Panoramic TERRACE. Historical Center!
If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience of history, arts, culture and literature, here is where you want to be. It's like to live in a living museum with all the latest comforts of the XXI Century.
The historical apartment - on the second floor with private elevator - still fully furnished with the family's ancient furniture, is located in the the historic center, in the most ancient area of the town - Vergini district - and is part of a 16th century palace, still belonging to the same princely family who built it.
There lived, in the 18th century, the Great Saint, Alfonso de Liguori (August 1st on the calendar), Doctor of the Church and Founder of the Congregation of the Very Holy Redemptor, and in that area he started his apostolate.
The apartment, also served by a private elevator, is composed by 3 double-bedrooms (2king-size and 1 queen-size beds), dining room, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, fully furnished kitchen and huge panoramic terrace (90 mq - 1,000 sf).
All bedrooms are served by 12,000 BTU A/C units.
Parking space inside the building upon request and for a little extra per-day.
The apartment is in an area very well linked to everywhere (2 subways, 5 bus-lines and taxi rank) and offers many touristic attractions (Greek Hipogea of 4th century B.C.; Sacrarium of Fontanelle; Saint Gaudioso and Saint Gennaro's Catacombs; and many aristocratic palaces and important churches).
In five minutes walk, you can reach Naples' Cathedral, with the priceless Saint Gennaro's treasure; and the National Museum of Archaeology, with the finest pieces of Pompei and the wonderful Farnese's Collection.
By appointment only, it's possible to visit the Prince's apartment, composed by several reception rooms, a huge ballroom with 18th century frescoes on the ceiling and a splendid 18th century chandelier, a very important library with 16th - 17th - 18th century books, in which rooms the princely family regularly organizes cultural events as concerts, theater exhibitions and debates.
On these occasions, and especially by night, some ghosts belonging to the family have appeared and seemed to enjoy very much to be in company. :-)
Furthermore, our Palace and its various apartments, including this one, have been a film set for important films and TV series, including, just to mention a few: - "M son of the century" by Joe Wright (2022) - "Mixed by Herry" by Sidney Sibilia (2022) - "Ripley - the series" by Steven Zaillian (2022) - "Nostalgia" by Mario Martone (2021) - "Sono solo fantasmi" by Christian de Sica (2021) - "I fratelli de Filippo" by Sergio Rubini (2020) - "Gomorrah - the series" by Stefano Sollima & Francesca Comencini (2020) - "The Jackal - the series" by Francesco Capaldo (2017)

Why they chose this property
David Gepner (Germany) Gianfrancesco's apartment is really as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. When we got to Napoli, we met up with his mother Paola, who gave us the key and showed us around. She is extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with invaluable assistance throughout of stay, making sure we got the most out of our trip, and Gianfrancesco was always available by phone, in case we had a problem. Our apartment, together with hers, occupies the entire third floor of a huge, family-owned, aristocratic building, right in the center of Napoli. The palace itself is very old, with very high ceilings (some frescoed) and huge windows. Our quarters were six rooms (including two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, which is accessed through one of the bedrooms) plus an enormous terrace which overlooks a marketplace district below, where seemingly all the locals went for their daily shopping. Needless to say, the food was sublime, with cheap quality groceries available in the shops on the street below and incredible restaurants scattered throughout the city. The city itself is extremely vibrant and full of history, and the surrounding countryside is some of the most gorgeous I've even seen (especially the Amalfi coast) . All in all we couldn't have asked for a better or more memorable experience, courtesy of Gianfrancesco and Paola. We will certainly be back!
Will Brag (S. Francisco - USA) This rental made our stay in Napoli outstanding. I have to admit we were a bit skeptical about visiting Napoli but Paola (our hostess) was as charming as lovely as anyone could be. She put us at ease immediately and continued to treat us as family. We were sad to say goodbye to Paola but I am sure we will see her again. Now we have a reason to visit Napoli. The apt itself was as charming as Paola, filled with antiques and art. The very large private terrace was a great place to relax after a day of visits. Honestly, we can't thank paola enough for her sweet kindness!
