Great vacation home for a large family or group. Located right on Mooselookmeguntic Lake in Oquossoc.

For your convenience: Our housekeepers will leave a check in packet with area information for you at the property. Also included at the rental are paper products, trash bags, dish soap and hand soap. Guests are asked to bring their own toiletries for their stay.

Family Weekend

Had a great birthday weekend celebration at Second Wind. Plenty of room for 12 of us and could have had easily housed more people. We were able to get onto the lake to access ITS trails several miles away. The camp had everything you'd ever need.

Cozy and Comfortable Stay for a Large Group

We were a group of 11 adults staying for the weekend to ski at Saddleback and snowshoe in Rangeley. We had a great time and everyone slept comfortably. We had an issue with the hot water but Morton sent someone over and fixed it for us very quickly. Would definitely book again!

My family and I loved second wind. The location was perfect right on the water with incredible views. . The home was lovely with plenty of room to spread out. The home was equipped with everything a person could imagine when on a trip especially the kitchen which had extra pots pans casserole dishes, spices, etc.....cannot say enough how warm qnd inviting this vacation rental was.

Magical Stay for the whole family

We booked this property for a vacation with our extended family and it was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and still feel connected ... The home was cozy yet wonderfully appointed with all the creature comforts. Falling asleep to the call of the loons and the water on the dock was pure heaven! The property had beautiful landscaping and wonderful paths leading to and from the water. We loved access to the canoes and kayaks... Town was not too far away and had many wonderful restaurants and shops that we enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and this company. When we had any questions they got back to us right away and were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and can not wait to make new memories there next summer

Beautiful spot and had everything

It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful spot than this house on Mooselookmeguntic. It is a beautiful house, with a great view, tons of boats to use, and just about everything you'd need for a great lake vacation. The kitchen had everything, there were games for the kids, there were plenty of life jackets, and even a swim dock. The location is amazing as well, with great sunset views. The way it is situated, it is also very private. It is almost in it's own cove, so we could only one other nearby dock. Morton and Furbish was also very responsive when we couldn't find things or had maintenance issues. If we have a large group like this again, we would be sure to rent this house.

Enjoyable!

We had such a great time! Would recommend this property to anyone. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. Amazed at how stocked the kitchen was. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils of all sorts, and more than enough appliances even a mixer, bread machine, cookie sheets, and cutting boards. Very quiet area. Morton and Furbish reality were great to deal with. Very attentive to our needs. Our stay was awesome!!

Amazing location!

Could not ask for a better setting! Beautiful small beach and dock on the lake - quiet and private. Great decks and amazing screened porch with lots of rocking chairs and amazing view of the lake and sunsets. Overall the house was great for our large family group with lots of kids - plenty of bedrooms, the basement area was great as a kids play area. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. The house has a few quirks - a water heater that you have to turn off and on so it doesn't make noise at night, overhead footsteps are very noticeable, one of the exterior doors doesn't seem to lock - small things like that. We had an issue with the house not having smoke and carbon monoxide detectors which we brought to the management company's attention on Sunday. The issue was addressed the next day. I would stay here again - the setting is perfect and the house is comfortable and great for a group.

Plenty of beds and nice, clean and cozy accommodations. The fireplace is lovely. Lake access and trailer parking for snow machines in winter is tricky but doable. 12 miles to fuel or town.

Beautiful spot

This is a great house for a large group. Besides being a beautiful house, it is stocked with every piece of kitchen equipment you can imagine, and is in a lovely spot on the shore of Mooselook. It's quite private as well, with only one other dock being able to see you on the shore.
