Weekend Stay

Another great weekend in Rangeley. The staff was excellent in helping us find the right house for activities we were interested in. The house was set up for the dinners we cooked and plenty of room for the adults and children to each have their own space. Thank you

Loved our stay at this unit. Clean, really tastefully decorated and comfortable.. Absolutely stunning view. We enjoyed it and will definitely return!!! The staff at Morton and Furbish were extremely communicative and answered all of our questions about the area. Thank you!

A Glorious Rangeley Thanksgiving

What an absolutely breathtaking view of Rangeley Lake from just about every window. We felt we were sitting on top of the world. Certainly set the scene for our family's Thanksgiving celebration. We put on the full Thanksgiving feast and played games and took walks, enjoyed the deer out our windows, shopped in all the downtown stores (we liked the hardware store the best) and enjoyed hot chocolate with candy corn marshmallows. Another (our 13th) family tradition of Thanksgiving at Rangeley.

Overall great! FYI most of the exterior lights are burned out and need replacing - it's a bit treacherous entering and exiting the house in the dark with the ice and lack of light. Also, in the lower level primary bedroom (queen bed), none of the electrical outlets work.

Needs Some Improvement

First let me say I've stayed in well over a dozen rentals in the Rangeley area through Morton and Furbish and almost all were excellent properties. This one is just not up to their normal standards. This has the potential to be a great rental but .... it's just not well equipped and is not well maintained. There were 4-5 lights out in the house, the shower curtains were moldy and slimy, the kitchen was poorly equipped, shades were broken (stuck open or closed,) rotting handrails on the deck and the beds were horribly uncomfortable. Overall just not clean or well maintained at all. If a little bit of effort and care was put in this could be a great property but as is there are much better choices in the area.

Deer Camp Paradise

My husband and 3 of his friends have been staying at Lodges # 19 for the entire month of November since 2015. In 2014 they stayed at Lodges # 17. They travel to the Rangeley Lakes region for the hunting season and they enjoy the time they get to spend up there very much. The guys often say that they are sad when they leave because the rental unit has become like home to them. The Morton & Furbish team is awesome and are always quick to respond to any issues or needs. The guys can't wait to come back next year.
