Very welcoming, fun home. We stayed with friends and we all really enjoyed our visit. Would be a great place for a mini family reunion. Thank you for keeping the house stocked well.
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin provided the mountain feeling we were wanting. One note, none of the bathrooms had hand soap and did not have much paper product supplies like toilet paper. The internet was also out the entire stay. We enjoyed a weekend without good reception however would want to be better prepared in the event of an emergency. I contacted the owener but never heard back. Overall we had a wonderful stay!
This is a fantastic property with tons of potential! The owner lives in India, so response times are slow (30 hours) and communication unclear. We didn't receive check-in instructions, but the cleaning lady was there and gave us the code (it's 0155 if that happens to you).Main complaints:- host communicates poorly after very long delays- this is a 5 bedroom cabin, not 6 as the posting said- there are two leaks in the roof, one over a bed on the top floor, the other over a chair in the kitchen- the foosball and air hockey tables are broken- there was no chlorine tablet for the hottub, so after a week the water was green- bring your own towels; we only had one per bedroom, even though we booked for 10 guests- the gas in the propane tank was emptyThe good things:- tons parking (easily enough for 10 cars)- besides the leaks, the cabin is beautiful- all bathrooms came equipped with soap and shampoo- washer and dryer worked great (bring your own detergent), iron and ironing board, deep sink- charming fireplace in the den and great heating system- the kitchen was stocked above and beyond; waffle maker, toaster, coffee pot, cookware, every bowl plate and cup you can think of (besides shot glasses), lots of spices, and a few options for cooking oil- the cabin has a lot of stand-off, so you won't hear your neighbors and they wont hear youI'd normally leave a 2 star review, but since this is a brand new host, I'm bumping up to 3, hoping he improves.
Location of the property and the outside was great. Walking into it into the downstairs the heater does not work so it was cold down there the entire trip so we barely used it. Mind you it was 9 of us who stayed and we were all up top. There was a yellow jacket hive outside the windows upstairs and they kept coming into the cabin. Called the property manager on the wall next to the door and it wasn’t even her property anymore she had sold it so I had to go back into my emails and find another number to call. Told us they would come out and check out why the tvs were not working and never showed up. So we had to log into streaming apps just to watch tv with the kids. There was a lot of space in the cabin for sure but it was very outdated. It’s such a gorgeous place to be ran by people who let it look the way it does is sad. The kitchen utensils and cook ware was awful it was all burnt up and not clean and there were yellow jackets all over it under the cabinets. So none of it was used we made do with what we brought. The hot tub never got hot enough like it’s supposed to and my kids didn’t like it so wasn’t a huge deal. Best part about our stay was the town itself it was so cute and nice! People were so nice food was good and we got to see Santa and do crafts so it was worth it for the kids.

Beware - Misrepresented Property and Non-Responsive Owner
I don’t usually write negative reviews but lack of response from the owner of this property has forced my hand by refusing to respond.
We recently rented this house while there were some positive aspects, we were ultimately disappointed due to a number of issues that did not align with the listing.
Starting with the positives, the location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities. The surrounding area was peaceful, and the views from the house were beautiful.
The listing was misleading (and not truthful) It advertised 6 bedrooms, which influenced our decision to book this property over another one, but we arrived to find there were only 5. This was a significant inconvenience, as we had counted on that sixth room for our group. Additionally, the listing stated "5+ bathrooms," yet there were only 5.
There was a persistent wasp problem in the kitchen and one of the upstairs bedrooms, making it uncomfortable and concerning for family members. We killed several wasps each day only to have them return the next morning.
The tub in the upstairs bedroom leaked and did not drain properly.
The Internet was spotty at best and needed to be reset constantly. We had to reboot at least twice while watching movies.
The owner was non-responsive about the issues.
The owner still has not corrected the listing so other people are booking this property as a 6 bedroom home when it is only 5 bedrooms.
I'd share more if there were room here.
